Wrestling and Kids

Does anyone else think it's unfortunate that wrestling is no longer geared towards kids?

Could this be a reason why wrestling is failing to bring in new people?

I wish WWE or another promotion would set something up for kids to watch.

Bring back the comic book like characters, bring back the emphasis on gimmicks and imagination.

They can't. They would have really really change their direction. It would take years for it to happen. Some of their current audience would leave without the guarantee that the audience they would gain would be greater, especially after 7 or so years of being EDGY.

They claim their weekend programming is geared more towards kids.

What if they did an early Saturday Morning show, set-up as another promotion?

They don't have the depth to do a third brand. It would fail.
