So the talk is that Garrison Cade will become a younger version of Shawn Michaels, right down to the ring gear. He goes from looking like Ric Flair, to this. Question is, do you think this idea will work? Can a wrestler get over with fans while using someone else's gimmick? Time will tell, but I would doubt it. Cade doesn't have the personality (or ANY personality, for that matter) to pull it off. Perhaps he'll surprise me; we shall see. So what does everyone else think of this?

1wrestling.com reports that new ring gear is being made for Garrison Cade to match that of Shawn Michaels, and WWE may start booking Cade to emulate Shawn. 1wrestling even suggests that Cade may be dubbed "H.B.Cade" in WWE. For those who don't know, Michaels trained Cade in Texas before Cade signed a developmental deal with WWE and went to OVW.

You don't like anyone lol. People thought the Rock sucked at first. I am not saying Cade is the Rock but people don't give wrestlers a chance anymore. Who know, it could work out. At least the guy is getting a chance. Everyone has different taste and likes. Just because you don't like someone doesn't mean they have to never get a chance or will always suck.

at least theyre doing something with him character-wise.

Also, we should at least give it a chance. I mean, when we heard there was gonna be a retarded wrestler everyone bitched and moaned about how stupid it was gonna be, and now Eugene is one of the more entertaining characters on Raw

Like Ida said, people thought the Rock was never gonna amount to anything and look what he did. Some people said Cena would never amount to anything, and once he developed his character a bit, it took off.

Maybe Cade will never be a star, but at least they're giving him a chance to prove himself, by giving him some character.

So I guess WWE can't come up with a unique gimmick for Cade. The only options they give us is to have "Joe Blow Vanilla" from OVW, or go back to the well and re-hash previously successful gimmicks. Even Eugene is a rip-off of George Animal Steele, one could argue.
