Your thoughts on the WWE Great American Bash PPV

Once again I'm looking for your thoughts and feedback on WWE's latest PPV. This time, it's the Great American Bash. Comment on the show as a whole, and/or on individual matches, give a thumbs up, etc. I'll post the comments you make here on the main part of the site.

Sorry JV, didnt waste my time watching "Great American Trash"

From the sounds of it, I am glad I didnt. I couldnt help but read your review and think "Man, JV is pissed off at the WWE tonight." Quite a few jabs at the horrible booking and overall product of the show.


Here are a couple of things I would like to throw out there without even watching the PPV.


*Lets get rid of the phoney baloney police/security/arrests in WWE programming if we are going to have the wrestlers commit murder on the shows (ie: UT buring Bearer).


*How is it that Cena and Orton have the US and IC title's respectively for months and months when there are plenty of legit contenders for their titles but yet Eddie loses his title to F'N Bradshaw?!?!?!?!? As much as I think the gimmick is good for him.........giving him the title is Smackdown suicide. You may as well have given it to Gillberg. People arent going to buy this one.

*The Dudley Boys/Taker over the main event? Just give Taker the belt for christs sake.

I am glad I didnt waste my time watching that PPV. I will say it again...........when the WWE loses Simon as a viewer they are in trouble, because I will watch just about anything the WWE puts out there. This just didnt seem worth watching AT ALL. I am guessing worst buyrate EVER.

It's absolutely absurd that Bradshaw is the WWE champion when, a few months back, he was jobbing to Rikishi and Scotty 2 Hotty. Having him as champion will only weaken the status of that title. I mean, just think, that's the same title that Bret Hart, Hogan, Austin, etc. held at one point. I'm comparing this to the time David Arquette won the WCW Title, and ruined that forever.

PS - Bradshaw: weakest WWE Champion ever!

Oh my Lord!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This PPV was horrible...BOOOOOOGLY!!! This was perhaps, the worst television program of all time. I would rather watch paint dry...REALLY. JBL is now our new champ :eek: this btw is the real World Title and this guy is holding it :?: I like the JBL character but he shouldnt be our champion...I cant believe he got the title. The rest of the show was bad also. From Kenzo, to the girls, to that stupid crypt match and everything between, this was without a doubt the worst PPV ever!!! Bradshaw is the new champion............... :eek: :eek: :eek: :eek: :eek: :eek: :eek: :eek: :eek: :eek: :eek: I think Im done with WWE.

This has to be an Undertaker Champion setup right? Right? Please god tell me thats what they are doing. Right?

I didnt see it, I was at the Yankees-Mets game. My little brother watched it and was supposed to tape it for me, but he screwed up. Sounds like i didnt miss much. The bullrope match sounded good (i actually felt the suspense just reading JV's review) but i still cant believe Bradshaw is the champion. Terrible, terrible decision. We've gotta be heading toward Bradshaw-Taker for Summerslam, making Bradshaw a "transitional" champion, in which case it wont be THAT bad.

Here's my review: FUCKING STUPID!!!!!! THE WHOLE THING, I haven't the words to display or articulate my frustration and anger. I believe what I am feeling has no earthly sound or name it is something that only in the very bowels of hell you would hear, and even this sound would drive the devil himself to tears from fear.

That's because it's an insult to the fans when someone who was a couple months ago jobbing to Scotty 2 Hotty and can't wrestle, beats Eddie Guerrero. It's so unrealistic and bullshit, it's absolutely understandable how they don't accept it. The fans don't live by the logic of the WWE.
