First thought, better get a column soon. I've been busy, I've been tired, usual crap. Just finished college though, should free up some time.
GAB - fairly poor. The decision in the JBL/Guerrero match was awful. He should have been fired and arrested after Germany. No question.
Bearer - boy, did that angle suck.

I watched on and off, as I was busy playing poker and it was such a useless event. Except for that brutal title change, nothing really happened. 5/8 matches were Velocity/Heat caliber. The 4 way really dissapointed me, as RVD was the first guy out, and the title didnt change hands. The match itself wasnt good either. Paul Bearer dying was stupid and having Bradshaw as WWE Champion is retarded. LOL maybe they'll get Simmons to come back and feud over the title LOL. They could headline WrestleMania. OH SHIT can you guys imagine Bradshaw headlining WM LOL.
I'm very thankful I didn't throw my money away on this crap. Even if it was offered free I'm not sure I would've watched.
What else can you say about JBL that hasn't already been said? It's crazy to think this guy was wrestling on Velocity 4-5 months ago and now is champ. If Vince thought buyrates were low with Eddy as champ, wait and see the results if JBL holds the belt long enough to headline a Smackdown only PPV. No way that does better than these last two PPV's.
Reading Meltzer's site today, he stated that WWE creative still isn't sure whether to have 'Taker a heel or face, even after his actions last night. That's laughable to me, but also really scary that WWE is having this hard of a time committing to what Taker should be. My opinion is he should stay heel and wrestle Eddy at Summerslam. Eddy will hopefully get a rematch with JBL, and maybe if we're lucky he can beat JBL on Smackdown and re-claim the title. Of course, either way, Taker is going to be champ by the end of Summerslam, so it doesn't really matter who he wrestles.
RVD needs to turn heel immediately. He's going nowhere fast. Same with Booker and Dupree after the 4-way last night. Why not have Cena drop the U.S. belt and then move on to take on either Taker (who he had a good match with on Smackdown) or JBL?
I really think it's time to end the brand extension. I don't care if Vince has to let guys go, just get it done. Both rosters are so thin, it's pathetic. We get stuck watching the same 4-5 guys on the top of the card each year, while everyone else stays the same. At least by brining everyone together, you have one strong roster instead of two weak brands.

GAB was memorable only for the annoyance of Heyman's voice interrupting what was basically a weak SmackDown two-on-one match that would normally be used to SET UP an angle for PPV, let alone be shown on the PPV itself.
In its defence, I found the Mysterio/Chavo Guererro match entertaining, and I liked the finish, with the Gory bomb attempt countered into the sunset-flip bomb type maneover that Mysterio used. Pyschology was good in the match with Mysterio selling his leg but he'd forget about it going for a huge senton splash to the outside that hit his knee on Chavo's head :S Tazz and Cole drew on it to cover up but to me it seemed illogical. Decent match though. Found it funnily ironic seeing Kidman talk about beating Mysterio in the hot tub with Torrie Wilson afterwards, considering the matches that they put on back in WCW that would have been a heck of a bout. USE KIDMAN WWE!
The Eddie - JBL match was OK, slow and plodding in sections and Eddie really did carry JBL through it, he drew the crowd into his spots well and I liked that, but the finish was really weak, and the Undertaker thing should NEVER have been placed at the end of the card. They might have done it to add surprise to the 'Taker 'heel' turn at the end because WWE likes to send fans home happy after a heel title win, but maybe im overanalysing.
The rest of the card shows how shocking the SD card has gotten lately. New wrestlers that arent really over yet, like Luther Reigns (who looked impressive), Kenzo Suzuki and Mordecai were fighting people that are stuck in lower mid-card hell. The matches were more the kinda match you'd expect on SmackDown TV shows than a PPV. The Fatal Four way was too rushed for my liking, and I thought we should have seen a title change. Its gotten stale, although the US title is probably the only title that has a viable contender structure in place at the moment.
It's funny. I don't have a problem with the JBL character. I didn't have a problem with him getting a title shot. Hell, I didn't even have a problem with him getting the rematch.
Now WWE has taken it too far. There is no way JBL should have a title run and I pray to god he isn't taking the title into Summerslam.
That's one a the few PPVs I look forward to these days and I don't want it ruined by this bastard.
I just hope WWE comes to their senses and gives Eddie ( or someone else) the title back before the big event.
You know, I was thinking why the hell they would ever put the title on JBL, a guy with mediocre wrestling skills and then it hit me. Vince McMahon made alot of money off Bradshaw (stock market) and thats why hes champ. Oh it's true, it's dam 100% true.
