Because they don't know how to move on from the past and are way to serious for their own good.

The Germans? I think they would love to forget about what happened but it is just something that can never be lived down. Its a sad fact of life but you can't erase history. No one will ever forget and none ever can because if you do, the same mistakes will be repeated. Its just a very sad point in the history of the world and i think the Germans don't like having it rubbed in their faces especially by an American. Thats just a history majors point of view.

I hate to contribute to this mis-guided thread, but...

When they start mocking the events of 9/11 I'm sure more than one American will have something to say. I bet it wouldn't be "just entertainment" then.

I'll tell you what, this is not a misguided thread. Where this has gone is probably my biggest gripe. Why are we even having to talk about WW2 the Holocast, or even 9/11 in the future in regards to wrestling? Because they can' t seem to figure out what the bounds of good taste are. I think most normal people know better than to mock the Germans about what the Nazis did. I think people know better than to go to the Middle east and call them towel heads in the streets. Its common sense. WWE excercises none of the restraint that a level headed, sane human being would. Necrophelia?, Pregnancy angles?, Birthing a hand? seriously. The Ric Flair/ Harley Race fued was not centered around Flair sleeping with Race's wife and getting her pregnant. They just didn't like each other. Over the top angles do not make a fued good alot of the time. Most times just a simple fued based on one guy having something the other doesn't is enough. Lots of these crazy angles come off looking silly in the end. WWE just needs to learn some restraint. Maybe get a socialogist on board to tell them what they should and shouldn't do. The overall feeling I get from them sometimes is that they are like a kid who needs a good stern talkin' to from their mom and then a good whuppin from their dad out in the wood shed.

Ida, they do try to move on, but many people won't let them. My girlfriend, whose parents are German, was told that she was a Nazi and that she should do the "Heil Hitler" salute. She's 27 and it's not as if she had anything to do with that stuff.

The people who wont let them move on are the over sensitive people who try and speak for others.

Yeah this has a lot to do with the WWE.

My biggest gripe is that there arent enough viable Main eventers on either Smackdown or Raw.
