Chavo Guerrero Sr. pulled a no-show for yesterday’s SmackDown! brand house show in St. Louis and never notified company officials to let them know that he would be unable to work. WWE quickly came up with a plan to cover it by having Chavo Jr. claim that his father was busy with women in the back.

The word from Springfield, Illinois is that Chavo Guerrero, Sr. once again no-showed the house show without calling management.
No one within WWE, not even his son, has spoken to him in days and superstars are starting to worry about his situation.
Although it is expected WWE will punish Guerrero for his absences, the greater concern right now is what happened to Chavo.

This is pretty serious. I really do not know what to say about this situation. What do you guys think of this.
Well the guy was fired today so they must have had some contact with him. I can't believe this guy after all the WWE did for him. I'm guessing hes too old and was tired of traveling, but then again Flair has been doing it for almost four years.

Chavo Guerrero Sr., known as Chavo Classic on WWE TV, was released today. Management grew frustrated with his rejecting of recent storyline ideas to inject more humor into the broadcasts. Chavo Sr. apparently felt management was pushing things too far, trying to humiliate him, such as suggesting he parade around on TV in women's underwear.
He missed both Smackdown house shows this weekend, apparently unexcused absenses, which was the final straw.
It's not clear what this means to the status of the Cruiserweight Title, since Chavo Sr. held that title until being released.
Well if you look at the smackdown spoilers you will see what happens to the cw title. Anyway, i think Classic is right, they wanted to humiliate him and turm him into a complete joke.
Yes, if those rumors about storylines are true, Chavo Sr. had a right to be upset, but the fact remains is that you don't no-show an event you are advertised to be at. He made things worse by not calling anyone and telling them he wasn't going to be there. He's older, so he had a bevy of excuses he could've used to get out of those shows.
I'm disappointed that he's gone, but Chavo Sr. has a bad reputation about burning bridges everywhere he goes. Hopefully Chavo Jr. won't be punished for this, and he can maybe move up the card. There is still unfinished business between him and Eddie, I think. Their Rumble match was too short.
Hopefully WWE will stop making the Cruiserweight Title a joke. If they took it seriously, they could have 1-2 good matches each week on Smackdown! and PPV, because they have good workers in that division, they just aren't being used.
At least when Nitro sucked, you could still count on a good cruiserweight match each week.
