Rep Power: 6 ![]() | Sucky Smackdown Thursday WHOOOPEEEEEEEE!!!! If anyone has seen the beginning of the show yet, the Cena/Booker fued has been started by fart noises and poopie jokes, Jesus Christ  Oh, Yeah and Booker, Cena , and Angle rolling around the floor like the 3 stooges and then Angle crying while sitting on his ass on the floor. They must have had 3rd graders write the show this week.

Rep Power: 7 ![]() | I'm watching Scream 2 on Fox instead. :P That's right, I'm watching a highly edited movie rather than the tripe that is Smackdown.
| When you see Jerusalem being surrounded by armies, you will know that its desolation is near. Then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains, let those in the country not enter the city. For this is the time of punishment in fullfillment of all that has been written. How dreadful it will be in those days for pregnant women and nursing mothers! There will be great distress in the land and wrath against this people. They will fall by the sword and be taken as prisoners to all nations. Jerusalem will be trampled on by the Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled. ...At that time they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. When these things begin to take place, stand up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near. Luke 21:20-28 | ||

Rep Power: 6 ![]() | Actually Bret Hart and Kane have. The show isn't to that part yet unless you read the spoilers. But it is definately not worth my time tonight. The only reason I'm watching is because Taker is on tonight. Boy WWE is having a rough 2 weeks with both their shows being rather crappy to put it nicely.

Rep Power: 6 ![]() | Smackdown! was pretty lame again this week. Devoting so much time to the bikini contest was terrible, especially when you consider Smackdown! does this type of thing with the divas about 4 times a year. Sable didn't look like she was into her performance, and Miss Jackie just doesn't do it for me; she looks too plastic. The Chavo Classic stuff is pretty amusing, and for an older guy, he can still bump around the ring. It's too bad that they've tarnised the Cruiserweight Title, but the Guererro's are at least making things interesting. I like that 'Taker is billed as a special attraction, as seeing him on TV every week would do damage to that gimmick, but considering the shape Smackdown's roster is in, they might need to book him on more TV shows. The angle with the Dudley's is stupid, nobody believes they will go over 'Taker. The only way is if Mordecai interfers, and if he does, that won't help the Dudley's get over. I'm a Cena fan, but I thought his promo with Booker T was really weak. Those two could have a good feud if built properly, but once again, WWE is rushing things and the loser of this match at the PPV is going to come off looking weak in my opinion. It looks like Rene Dupree's push is over. I don't get it. I know he's young, but to have him lose three big matches in a row doesn't make sense. Creative needs to do something with Rey Mysterio and Rob Van Dam. Those two guys should be featured more, and would help the product. Smackdown! could be a good show if it had good writing and booking. The talent is there, but it seems the writers have no idea what to do with the talent. It's a shame because I used to look forward to watching Smackdown! each week, but now I tape it and fast-forward through most of it. -Djwlfpack |

For instance, after Wrestlemania last year, there was a Lesnar-Cena title at the next SD PPV. Now, i love Cena and all, but he was not ready to "main-event" a PPV (it wasnt actually the main event, because the Raw title match on that PPV was the real main event), and as a result,t he crowd was pretty dead for that match Then, of course, you have the Hardcore Holly and JBL pushes, which came out of nowhere, and as a result, fizzled pretty quickly Smackdown has a decent nucleus of talent in Taker, Cena, Booker, RVD, and Rey, as well as decent supporting characters like the Dudleys, Haas and Rico, Chavo, and Dupree. They really just need better writing

It still would be stupid though, people don't want to boo the UT. I watched the whole show last night because there isnt much else on once the season finales of a lot of other shows have come and gone and I must say...................ick. I was embarrased to watch wrestling with my co-worker yesterday. When Mordeci came out and did his speech he looked at me and said "is this sh*t for real?, this is the dumbest thing I have ever seen." It was pretty bad. Simon's Smackdown thoughts. * I believe Heyman as a master-heel manager. However, I don't buy the Dudleys as main event heels. They are just boring me. *Cena's promo over Booker T was the highlight of the show IMO. His impersonation was pretty amusing, then Angle goes and tells one of the only talented people on the show to take the rest of the night off. * The Bikini Contest??? Yet another example of being completely embarrased to watch wrestling with a non wrestling fan. Who rubs sand all over their body to be sexy? Who wears what Sable was wearing? Haroooooop !! *Ut vs. Booker was pretty good but Taker should be put over more. Still a great entrance, even if it does take 7 minutes.
