At that time, Flair vs Hogan would've been amazing...it could have gone down as the greatest match of all time.

If I also remember correctly, didn't Roberts and Taker have something to do with the Savage-Elizabeth wedding reception, which then led to Jake and Savage feuding for a few months?

I bet Roberts-Savage was originally pegged for Wrestlemania VIII, but when the Hogan-Flair angle fell apart, they peeled Roberts and Savage off into new programs in time to build them for Wrestlemania.

Thanks again guys!
Forgive my initial ignorance my friend, welcome to KYN!!

I was also in a state of confusion about the Wedding reception. At First I was thought that was the cause of the jake turn. But thinking back I soon remembered it was the Jake/Warrior graveyard training schtick that turned him heel. Using my powers of deduction, the jake Heel turn obviously happened in 1991.

I say that because I clearly recall Jake cutting a heel promo at the 1991 Survivor Series (He used the 'Trust Me' entrance theme, so that means he must have been a heel at the time).

Now this is where I get confused.. The Wedding happened in the previous PPV (3 months before) And Jake and Taker had a hand in sabotaging the wedding reception... But for the life of me I cant recall how it came about that Taker ended up Feuding with Jake! What annoys me even more is the fact that I avidly watched it at this time.

Can someone please tell me what caused taker to turn Face against Jake?

Well, it happened at a PPV called Tuesday Night in Texas (a couple of days after the Survivor Series)....as Jake was trying to hit Miss Elizabeth with a chair, Taker stepped him and grabbed the chair......thats when Taker turned faceand against Jake The Snake.............

Shango, it was Jake turning on Taker and trapping his hand in a coffin, thats what turned Taker face (well it was the straw that broke the camels back anyway).

This Tuesday In Texas was the PPV that Undertaker lost the title to Hogan at wasnt it? Straight after the 'Tombstone Match' that Taker beat Hogan for the WWF championship after Ric Flair interfered (Hogan was tombstoned on a chair).
