One more thing though does anyone on this forum ever have a problem with anything WWE does? When its bad I voice my opinion, if I like something I'll also tell you. It just seems to me that everything that ever happens is always intense or hilarious or awsome around here. The attempted death of Kurt Angle was sickining, Bradshaw is in the main event picture after not winning a match since I can't even remember. Does anyone think there is anything wrong with that picture? Rico and Haas as tag champs, yeah it might be funny but think of the damage they are doing to their tag belts right now. Rikishi and Scotty were a better choice. I know they don't really have a tag division to destroy but they'll never get it off the ground again if they keep this up. Putting belts on people for the sake of comedy is always a horrible idea. Just think if Doink had won the IC title at some point. The hardcore title was a joke for a long time mainly because Crash was a comedy act. There are bad things on RAW too don't get me wrong. The main event picture there is boring and stale as all hell. Get Benoit a new opponent. Kane is in dire need of something to do and their tag division is also a mess but they have legitimate champs. I'm not expecting anyone to agree with me, in fact I'm expecting to get flamed hard and told to leave but, someone out there has to have some criticisms its what generates conversations. If you don't believe me that Smackdown is in trouble look at the ratings they don't lie.

People are doing no less than you - airing their opinions. If they like it, fine. So don't "flame" others if they don't agree with you.

I don't love the idea of Haas and Rico either. Haas is far too good a worker to be in a program of this sort, and I think the only good thing that can come of it is an eventual pairing between Jackie and Haas. I think it's funny, but like you said it's disrespecting the titles as well as the team they beat to take the titles. But to counter that.. the titles are rotting anyway. This angle might make them seem important for once.. you could have bitter heels (Like the Bull and Nunzio/etc) attempting to beat the "joke tag champs" but Rico and Haas form a formidable barrier, and prove a solid unit... or perhaps Nunzio could take bets on the team to beat them again.. get something going in the division. Don't shoot down an idea that's barely in the opening stages of fruition.

The Kurt Angle thing - everyone's reacted to that weirdly, I think. I don't think it was intense or sickening or shocking at all. This is wrestling, 'risky' stuff like that happens all the time. So Kurt got thrown off of a ledge.. so what? That's nothing worse than what happens on something like your average episode of 24 or action movie. We all know it's fake, so get over it. The Bradshaw Mexican thing reeks of racism, but again.. it's WWE, it's nothing new, so meh, big deal.

No-one's going to throw you off for airing your own opinions.. so don't assume yours are always right - if there's a general consensus on the board over an angle, so be it. If you disagree, great! Makes for good debates.. but man.. Yours isn't the only opinion.

In '02-'03, when things were REALLY bad there was a lot more negative stuff posted here. after all, there wasnt much positive stuff to say

i think people here stopped being negative for 2 reasons:

1. When the product is struggling, its easy to point out the bad parts, and it's a little more interesting to point out what you like thats going on, because it may be a sign of improvement

2. Things are better than they were the last two years, and so because of that, sentiment here on the board will be relatively more positive

I cant speak for anyone else, but personally, i dont like everything thats going on right now. I think Smackdown is absolutely atrocious, and because of that, I rarely watch. The tag divisions are a joke. The cruisers are still treated like shit. But I think Raw is a million times better than it has been in the past two years

Lighten up man. We're not all just mindless "marks" (i hate using that trm, but its the only one that seems appropriate here). We're just tired of being negative all the time. And trust me, things were very negative for a while here

I think Rico and Haas are funny (thus entertaining), but they shouldnt be tag champs. at least not yet. i agree with you there

i think Bradshaw was pushed to be a main eventer WAY too quickly. Although the gimmick may have some legs, let him grow as a character and get some heat before having him lose to Eddie and lose any momentum he may have gained (I actually watched SD the last two weeks, so i feel i am justified in passing judgement)

Lack of a Kane push. i think that he should be the next challenger to Benoit's title, and maybe even be the one he loses it to. After getting squashed by Taker at WM (which I have no problem with), he needed to regain some steam, and losing to Edge really took the wind out of his sails

Only two Undertaker appearances since WM. Considering how weak SD is, wouldnt it make sense to have someone so over on the show every week?

Thanks I feel better. I agree things have been on an upswing as of late but just RAW. I feel like they are just kinda leaving Smackdown in the dust and it bugs me cause it used to my favorite show. I used to have a day off every Thursday from work to watch that, but since Surivivor series last year I switched my day off to Mondays. Neither show was particularly good in December. Now its still Mondays, I stuck with Raw cause SD didn't ever really pick up. Well since this thread is about the tag belts, I have this to say. I have no idea what to do. Tag team wrestling just doesn't seem very important these days and there aren't really many teams any way. I think someone needs to capture that energy that Benoit/Angle, Rey/Edge and the Gurreros found but I have no idea who.
