How about this for goosebump nostalgia that happened not soo long ago?

I recalled that match being for the WWE championship as well and on Raw..

I think that was the time when Triple H was actually being "Praised" for his match with TAKA due to him actually "SELLING" those bumps. I used to remember reading all the rasslin' report sites and everybody was saying that Triple H is somebody who should be respected. I mean this guy literally sold all the moves TAKA did to him making him look so weak. TAKA dominated this match almost entirely until well (your typical Triple H ending) with a pedigree out of no where.

Wasnt that the good ole' days? When Triple H's career seemed so bright and people could not wait for the forecoming future matches that he would have? I guess everybody got their wish and now we got the "Undertaker Push" on Jean Paul Levesque.

Triple H was the bomb back in the day. He was so entertaining until he started fucking Steph. He even jobbed to the small people back in the day, man how things have changed

I was more fond of HHH back then as well. I think he needs to do something different for a change. I find everything he does so rutine now.

I dont think you will find a better wrestler than HHH circa 2000.

It also has to be said that the man is starting to pull those great matches out again. He has certainly made me pay more attention to him than i have in the last few months.

HHH was my favorite wrestler back in 2000. Him and Jericho but HHH was putting on some top notch matches with The Rock/HHH fued sticking out the most.

I have come around on HHH again lately and feel he is good for the overall biz but he just shouldnt be the champ ALL the time. That is not good for biz.

I just saw the match with Eddie and quite enjoyed it. Hes started to sell well again, and the ring psychology he was once famed for is starting to come back. I used to love it when he would methodically pick apart a competitor, focus on one body part and hit a million holds on that part before nailing a pedigree. Take a look at HHH vs Kurt Angle at Royal Rumble 2001, perfect example.

I think if HHH sells for the right people and starts storytelling in his matches again, i'll start liking the guy more!

Ya, it will take a while but I can see me liking him as much as I use to if he continues to do well like he has been lately.

His match with Taka and his early fued with Jericho (Before the dog) was really entertaining stuff. I still feel if Vinnie Mac and I think Road Dogg wouldn't have got involved Taka would be our champion. Oh well he got his revenge a year later by beating him with the help of Funaki, Jericho and the Brooklyn Brawler.
