Fans who miss their Extreme Championship Wrestling fix will be happy to learn the WWE produced DVD release "The Rise and Fall of ECW" is listed as a 2-disc set with a retail price of $29.99. The DVD is slated for a 6/1 release.
The release is expected to be a documentary style look at Team Extreme in a similar vein to the recently released popular Monday Night Wars DVD. The DVD is currently available for pre-order right here at the PWInsider.com Online Store for only $18.69.
Needless to say since I worked on the Pioneer Home Video ECW DVD series, I am really interested in seeing this release and hope they do ECW justice.
Yet, another great wrestling DVD that I must own. First "Rise and Fall of WCW" dvd, and now "ECW". I must buy both and I must buy "Monday Night War" DVD. WOW, lots of great wrestling dvds I want to get but so many out there that it's hard to catch up on all of them. I also want to get the new Mick Foley DVD and the Ric Flair collection.
