Brock Lesner

At this point, these appear to be the nine reasons why Brock Lesnar left WWE:

1. His travel schedule. Brock has always been a farm boy and he could not handle the hectic schedule, waking up in hotel rooms everyday, etc.

2. He didn’t love pro-wrestling. Brock got into wrestling for the money. He actually hated pro-wrestling when he was a standout amateur wrestler.

3. Right or wrong, he really feels he can make it to the NFL. Brock misses being involved in a “real sport.”

4. He thought WWE did not appreciate him enough. Brock was not happy with how he was being booked and that he had to drop the WWE Title to a “little guy” like Eddie Guerrero. He wanted a long title reign. Having to work matches against Bob Holly in South Africa made him feel even more demoted.

5. His personal life. Brock is currently living with his young child and the child’s mother, while dating Sable. His personal life has added a lot of stress and anxiety.

6. He was embarrassed that walk up ticket sales to WWE house shows went up after he dropped the WWE Title to Eddie Guerrero.

7. He did not want to feud with the Undertaker. ‘Taker had been telling people that he would “set Brock straight” and humble him if he didn’t show veterans respect.

8. He did not want to end up with serious injuries or be a cripple. He did not like that wrestling had no off season where he could rest his body.

9. He had nothing left to prove. He had already reached the top of the wrestling industry and thought the only place he would go now is down, then back up to where he had already been. He wanted a new challenge.

Jesus Christ, this pissed me the fuck off. Anyone who has such little respect and passion for the sport/business should never hold the title, let alone headline a Wrestlemania.

Being upset about dropping the title to a "Little Guy" like Eddie Guerrero? Fuck you Brock, Eddie's twice the wrestler you'll ever be, in terms of love and respect for it, and talent.

So go on, be involved in a 'real sport' again. Live your dream of being an NFL star, and if you fail (which you will) don't try comming back, if I were Vince, and Lesner tryed to crawl back with no money, I'd send his ass out. He dosn't deserve it.

Now don't get down too much on him. I understand where he's coming from. Mainly cause I'm a small town "farm boy" too. Brock actually went to Bismarck State which was 40 miles from my home. Here's the thing I know tha I would be thrilled to have the chance to be a wrestler something I've wanted to do since I was little, it's kinda a dream of mine. But I do know that eventually the fast pace and hectic schedule would get to me. I know that i have freak outs today and I live in Fargo and go to college. The small town perspective is like this, Fargo which is nothing to someone from, say Minneapolis, is huge to me and I still am amazed by some of the stuff I see. The man was overwhelmed plain and simple i think he'll be back but I think he'll never be accepted again. He made a dumb move but I understand why. I wish the man luck in what ever he does but someday you have to leave that small town mentality at home and go out into the world. He's gonna run into the same problems in NFL he did in wrestling. I feel sorry for the guy.

I agree with SteveO above.

Brock did the right thing.

Brock didn't want to be buried by the Undertaker after Wrestlemania and I can see why he wouldn't if you pay attention. The WWE were going to have Brock get buried by 'Taker. I'm sure Brock is not afraid of Undertaker, but the reason Brock is backing out, because he didn't want Undertaker to make Brock look like a wimp. WWE had made Brock into a wimp more than he is. You know, the crying and begging for the Brock vs. Goldberg match, Brock tapping out during matches, etc. Stuff like that. Brock just couldn't take the writers/bookers bullshit anymore so he decided to say "The hell with WWE, I'll go join the NFL to show who the Next Big Thing is".

Brock wants to move on to a bigger career which is football. Which is a really good thing for him to do. He also wants to leave WWE to be happy. In WWE he isn't happy. He wants to leave, to do something he wants to do.

If Brock was truly unhappy, then i think he has a right to leave, especially if it was the schedule and stuff like that. Think about it, he's wrestled basically 4 times a week for the past two years, in a different city every night. Not many of us wouldbe able to put up with such a schedule, especially with family commitments like he has

That stuff about him not wanting to put over the Undertaker is stupid, if its true. The Undertaker put him over in a Hell in a Cell match. and the undertaker is one of the most popular wrestlers ever.

And he was more than likely booked to beat Goldberg at WM before he decided to leave for the NFL. Hmm...Booked to beat one of the biggest superstars of the past ten years? At one of the biggst events ever? One year after main-eventing Wrestlemania? After winning the title less than six months after his debut?

Yeah, the bookers treated him like shit

LOADS of top-name talent jobbed for him on his rise to superiority...

Remember Hulk Hogan spitting up blood and basically leaving SmackDown after being brutalised by Lesnar?

Rock being beat at the second biggest PPV of the year (SummerSlam 2002) for his WWF Title?

Undertaker being beaten to a bloody pulp in the match he had a hand in making famous (pardon the pun) Hell in the Cell?

He beat Kurt Angle in a WRESTLEMANIA MAIN EVENT in his first WrestleMania for the company! What more do ya wanna ask for?

I think doing the job to establish a gimmick like the new Undertaker one would be fine, its not like he's gonna hurt his credibility. It just takes one half-decent promo highlighting everything he's achieved in the company, or even just a replay of his explosive debut with Paul Heyman to show his status within the company. I think hes like a spoiled kid who's just had his toy taken away from him, and now hes crying about it. Fair enough he doesn't wanna wrestle anymore, but to blame having to job for Undertaker or Guererro (who is by far a more deserving champion and better worker), is ridiculous!

You are assuming. I don't recall him saying anything about Undertaker or anything like that. Unless you are referring to what the Crock posted which I would think are his opinions or net rumors.

I don't blame him for leaving if it is what he wanted to do. He didn't go looking to be in the WWE, they went looking for him. Why is he spoiled? He got offered something big, took it and decided it wasn't for him. He is not leaving in a big huff like SCSA. He doesn't want to wrestle anymore. So what. Good luck in what he does do and if he decides to return later then cool.

I am sure it could have been done sooner but I think they wanted to make him a HHH but in 1/10 of the time. I am sure if he ever returns that they will push him a lot slower.

My post was made on the assumption that Brock didnt want to wrestle Taker and was pissed at losing to Eddie.

Ida, are u saying they should have pushed Brock sooner than they did? :S They immediately pushed him from the night after WrestleMania until the day he main evented said event

Back to the point though, I concede that if Lesnar didnt have the heart for the business and didnt want to work, then yes he should be allowed to leave. The point im making is that if it was because he was being made to look human instead of the unstoppable monster that he was first pushed as, then thats a pretty crappy thing to be complaining about. Travelling, rigourous schedules e.t.c e.t.c I can accept, but not putting over talent because you think you're too big a name is dispicable.

Brock was pushed too soon because he had the whole package to be a main eventer, that's all it takes to get pushed whether they are a good wrestler or not.
