With the recent Trish heel turn I want to know what your top 10 heel turns are, which heel turns cudnt you see coming and which ones shocked you the most.

10. Bret Hart turns heel on the U.S (Day after Wrestlemania 13)
9. Triple H turns on X-Pac and joins corporation (Wrestlemania XV)
8. Owen turns on Bret (Royal Rumble 94)
7. Stephanie turns on Dad Vince and joins up with hubby Triple H (Armagedon 99)
6. Sid Justice turns on Hulk Hogan (Saturday Night Main Event Jan 92)
5. Steve Austin turns on fans (Wrestlemania X7)
4. Shawn Michaels tossing Marty Jannetty through the Barber Shop window (Jan 92)

I can't do 10, but I'll write about some really good ones..

*The most recent really good heel turn was Triple H pedigree'ing Shawn Michaels when they were going to "reform" DX. I just remember being like "What?!" I mean, I wasn't sure they'd get back together, but it sure shocked me.

*Austin at 'Mania 17 was a classic. Still don't like that the character "sold out" to Vince though. It just kinda ruined all Austin stood for.

*ECW, very much so. But I think that ruled generally because of ECW showing up at all. The speech Heyman gave was an all time classic promo - "And Vince.. This, invasion.. just got taken.. to theee... EXXXXXTRRRRREEEEEMMMMEEEEE!!!!" - and well, it rocked. Dreamer giving Kane a Death Valley Driver and Rob Van Dam kicking the chair into Jericho's face.. all brilliant stuff. I think the heel turn was shocking, but what it lead to.. bleurgh.

*Steph's turn was great. Just nice.

*Certainly nowhere near any of these previous ones, but I enjoyed Trish's turn at Mania 20. They'd sold me the fact that Trish was gonna stick with Jericho, then WHAM.. Perhaps a bit naive on my part to think her chance of turning had gone, but still.. WHAM! Go Christian.

*Matt turning on Lita was surprising. Shame it sunk him.

The only ones that really stick in my mind are HBK-Marty Jannety, Austin WM17, Steph joining with HHH, and Hogan joining the NWO. That was devastating

The Hogan-Nash poke. Unification of the nWo, I was pumped. Too bad they pissed that one away.

Bouchie

I liked when Bob Backlund turned heel on Bret Hart after losing a title match on Superstars in '94. Never expected Backlund of all people to turn heel at the time.

The Shawn-Marty incident was really well done. Unexpected too.

Also, when Shawn Michaels gave Sid (his bodyguard) the night off (RAW night after WM 11) and Sid attacked him from behind. He was already a heel but it turned Shawn face. Weird because at first the fans reacted as if Sid was the face.
