Is it just me or didnt Triple H retain against the Rock in Wrestlemania 2000?

If so, then shame on the WWE for missing the son-in-laws title defense. Lol.

It says changed hands not defended. It was defended 20 times.

Yeah. HHH walked in as champion and walked out as champion. thus, the title did not change hands. so the number is actually 16, and add WM2000 to the list

Huh? What does mentioning HHH and the Rock have to do with anything?

The thing on WWE's website, which Simon posted above, says "The only times a World Title did not change hands was at Wrestlemania 1, 2, 3, and 11"

But that is wrong. because the title did not change hands at WM 16, when HHH successfully defended against the Rock, Big Show, and Foley

They say a world champion title. Not the WWE title. The WWE title was defended 20 times.

Ida. Read what it says

Youre right. it was defended 20 times. But it doesnt say anything about being defended. its how many times the title changed hands. The title DID NOT change hands at WM 16

Here are all the World Title changes in WM history:

WM4: Savage wins the tournament
WM5: Hogan over Savage
WM6: Warrior over Hogan
WM7: Hogan over Slaughter
WM8: Savage over Flair
WM9: Yokozuna over Hart, then Hogan over Yokozuna
WM10: Bret over Yokozuna
WM12: HBK over Bret
WM13: Taker over Sid
WM14: Austin over HBK
WM15: Austin over Rock
WM17: Austin over Rock
WM18: HHH over Jericho
WM19: Brock over Angle
WM20: Benoit over HHH and HBK

Add it up. That's SIXTEEN title changes. Not the 17 like WWE's webstie says

Also, they are not even reffering to the WWE title. They are referring to a world title.

The whole thing is screwed up. First of all, Benoit won the World Heavyweight Title, which used to be the WCW Heavyweight title. And as you all well know the WCW title would be hard to defend at wrestlemania before the year 2001 since it was over at WCW.

They contradict themselves in it a few times.

They should hire me.

Also Thank you Mr.D for knowing where I was going with this one.
