Rep Power: 6 ![]() | The Wrestlemania Rating WWE United States Title The Big Show vs. John Cena The Hot: -Cena wins -The Big Show wasn't half bad -The crowd showed they were ready for Mania -It was 18 Minutes Long -With this win, I feel the WWE is going to push him. -Cena's is one strong SOB. The Not: -Cena had to cheat to win Rating: 8/10 World Tag Team Titles - Fatal Four Way Booker T & RVD vs. La Resistance vs. Jindrak & Cade vs. The Dudley Boyz The Hot: -Good Match -Jindrak and Cade worked hard to put on a good match The Not: -RVD and Booker won (both of these guys should get singles pushes) Rating: 7.5/10 Christian vs. Chris Jericho The Hot: -Excellent work by these two. -The Trish heel turn kind of turned me on a bit ![]() The Not: -We all knew the heel turn was coming and yes I was turned on, but the fact Trish helped Christain win after he beat her up, dosn't make any kind of sense. Rating: 9/10 3-on-2 Handicap Match Randy Orton, Batista and Ric Flair vs. Mick Foley and The Rock The Hot: -Awesome match -Batista was the weakest link, and even he didn't let the crowd down. -For his age Ric Flair was really in shape. -Flair and Rocky really worked the crowd, I want to see those two go one on one someday. -I.......LOVED.......that finish. When Randy Orton just RKO Foley out of nowhere I was shocked that he did it and laughing at Mic at the same time. -Crowd gave Mic his props. The Not: -I wish Rock and Sock would have taken it, but hell, I'm not going to take off for that. Rating: 10/10 Playboy Evening Gown Match Sable and Torrie Wilson vs. Stacy Keibler and Miss Jackie The Hot: -The fact that I was walking the dog and I didn't watch most of that filth. -The Horney men got their dose of T&A for the day. The Not: -Torrie and Sable winning (They got in Playboy, they really didn't need the W. Rating: 4/10 (I gave it extra points for the horny men). Cruiserweight Open Chavo Guerrero vs. Rey Mysterio vs. Billy Kidman vs. Tajiri vs. Nunzio vs. Jamie Knoble vs. Funaki vs. Shannon Moore vs. Akio vs. Ultimo Dragon The Hot: -Rey, Knoble, Ultimo and Kidman were on top of their game. -Funaki's in Wrestlemania!!! -Nunzio got a breif "Let's go Nunzio" chant. -Ultimo wan't the first one eliminated. The Not: -Funaki and Akio were deffinatly gyped. -Rey dressed like the Flash with wings instead of lighning bolts. -Why was Chavo placed so high in the open? It would have mad his win more awesome if he started at number four or lower. The Funny: -Ultimo Dragon slipped during his entrance. Rating: 9.5/10 Special Guest Referee: Stone Cold Steve Austin Brock Lesnar vs. Goldberg The Hot: -The Jackhammer -The two Spears -The F-5 -The two post match stunners The Not: -EVERYFRIKKINTHING ELSE!!!!!!! -It was too bad the crowd knew Brock was leaving. It was doomed from the get go after that. -The match was a big let down for me, both men had better matches this pile. It honestly took the joy of the previous matches right out of me. It did the same with the crowd. -The fact that they stood there for what seemed like eternity at the beging was undarable. -I like the Trips/Stiener match at last year's Rumble than this. -Pretty much silenced the crowd up until the last three matches. Rating: -10/10 WWE Tag Team Titles - Fatal Four Way Rikishi and Scotty vs. Haas and Benjamin vs. The APA vs. The Basham Brothers -The Hot: -Good solid match -Rikishi and Scotty retained, I know this is good cause these guys, unlike Booker and RVD need the belts. The APA will get them again before Faaroq re-retires and the Bashams, Haas and Benjamin are young, they'll get more gold before their carres are over. -I loved it when Scotty skinned the cat and ended up being caught in Haas and Benjamin's wicked double team -Modest pops for Rikishi and Scotty. -Bradshaw did the mother of all Clothlines from Hell. The Not: -It was too short -The crowd was still not in it cause of Brock and Bill. Rating: 8/10 Hair vs. Title Match Victoria vs. Molly Holly The Hot: -Solid match, like I expected. -Just right amount of time The Not: -The crowd was still not in it cause of Brock and Bill. The Funny: -Molly trying to ditch her haircut and then actully getting it. -MOLLY IS A BALDIE!!!! Rating: 7.5/10 (The Match) 10/10 (The Haircut) Winner: Victoria WWE Title Eddie Guerrero vs. Kurt Angle The Hot: -Supurb techical match -Great LCS style win for Eddie, very clever as well. -Nice Tights Kurt The Not: -I was wondering if these guys would ever throw a punch. Rating: 9/10 Kane vs. The Undertaker The Hot: -Taker's back, and in shape. -Paul Barrer's back, and fatter than ever. -Tombstone Pildriver, the crowd chanted for it and Taker did it. -Kane did is top turnbuckle move. -Taker did his high-wire attack. -While Kurt and Eddie helped, this match fully recharged the crowd. The Not: -A squash match by any other name....... -Taker's look was strange, he looked like new Taker in the front and old Taker with his coat on from the back. -Kane was wimpering like a baby. Rating: 8/10 World Title - Triple Threat Match Triple H vs. Shawn Michaels vs. Chris Benoit The Hot: -HBK was fantastic -Did Trips actully tap out to the Crossface? -Benoit finally won the top prize in the WWE -The two Radicals at the end with the two titles was touching. -The crowd loved this. -Table's were destroyed. -I'm proud of Triple H for doing what he did. The Not: -Benoit, technically won the same title he gave up to go to the WWE for. Rating: 10/10 Other Stuff The Hot: -The Choir at the begining was great -Including the Hall of Famers, the wrestling personaltites that wern't involved in matches were as follows: Vince McMahon, Eric Bishoff, The Coach, Al Snow (Heat), Josh Matthews (Heat), Rue (Heat), Lillian Garcia, Don Muraco, Harley Race, Bobby "The Brain" Heenan, "Mean" Gene Okurlund, Paul Bearer, Jesse Ventura, Billy Grahm, Pete Rose (boooo), Tito Santana, Greg "The Hammer" Valentine, Sgt. Slaughter, Moolah, Mae Young, Jimmy "Superfly" Snuka, The Hurricane, Rosey, Theodore Long, Paul London, Spike Dudley, Billy Gunn and Orlando Jordan (that all I got). The Not: -I don't ever want to see "Mean" Gene, Henan Moolah and Mae Young in the same dark closet ever again. -What happend to Coach after he was looking for Taker? -Bret Hart and Dean Malenko, wern't at Mania. The Funny: The Rock, nuff said. -Rosie eating a Hamburger when The Rock called him Grimace. Rating: 9.5/10 Overall: Aside from the blemish that was the Brock Goldberg match, I enjoyed Wrestlemania this year and it deserves a Great rating from me. -BackLash |

Rep Power: 42 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Big Show vs Cena: 9/10. Great way to start the PPV, with a rising star winning his first WWE championship. Good David vs. Goliath story, with Show dominating early, and Cena overcoming the odds Raw Tag-title 4-way: 5/10. Eh. Not great, not terrible. Everyone loves RVD so it was good to see him get the pin, and the 5-star is awesome Y2J-Christian: 8.5/10. Good, solid match. Trish's turn went over well Rock n Sock vs. Evolution. 8.5/10. another good solid match. Good ending too. Thats how the RKO should be used, with Orton hitting it out of nowehere. Like DDP used to do Evening-Gown match: 3/10. At least it was short Cruiserweight open: 4/10. On a 4 1/2 hour telecast, theres no excuse for cheap eliminations like what happened with Nunzio and Funaki. If you're not gonna give them a chance, then dont even book them. Would have been better if it was just Rey, Chavo, Kidman, and Tajiri Brock-Goldberg: 1/10. Even ignoring the crowd reactions, this match would have sucked anyway. Stall for five minutes. Goldberg hits one impressive move, followed by Spear, F5, Spear, Jackhammer, pin. Way to be creative for what was supposed to be one of the biggest matches ever. the crowd reaction made the match memorable for me, however. This match will be remembered for a long time, for all the wrong reasons Smackdown 4-way: 2/10. This match sucked, plain and simple Molly vs. Victoria: 5/10. Decent, but not great. We should have seen the widow's peak Eddie vs. Angle: 8/10. Good match. Perfect example of having a good match wthout any "holy shit" bumps. Good, creative, original finish Undertaker vs. Kane: 6.5/10. Great entrance for Undertaker. Taker's signature moves were good (Old School, Tombstone, that awesome Jumping clothesline he does, etc.). the rest of the match was a little boring, however HBK vs. Benoit vs. HHH: 9.5/10. Great match all around. Incredible that the crowd was so into it after more than 4 hours of wrestling. Nice to see Benoit rewarded for all the hard work he's put in throughout his career. Good touch with having Eddie come out. You could tell Benoit was legimately emotional. These three guys, love them or hate them, truly love wrestling. They are the anti-Brock/Goldberg Overall, I'll give the show a 7/10, which is a little higher than the average match rating. Most of the bad matches were short at least. | |

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | The Big Show vs. John Cena gret away to kick off show. crowd made this match even better Rating: 8/10 World Tag Team Titles - Fatal Four Way pretty standard match Rating: 7/10 Christian vs. Chris Jericho watched this again today and i have to say this was just brilliant. great stuff from both guys. great trish heel turn (who is one sexy bitch when heel  ), although i predicted it Rating: 10/10 3-on-2 Handicap Match i loved this match. rock and flair were just brilliant. loved the rko out of nowhere for the finish. foley looked in pretty good shape too. Rating: 10/10 Playboy Evening Gown Match for what it was. it was ok. stacy looked great ![]() Rating: 5/10 Cruiserweight Open waaaay too short. i love rey rey but really someone else should get a turn in the picture. and akio not wrestling just sucked. paul london should have been in this Rating: 5/10 Brock Lesnar vs. Goldberg at the time i was intrigued because i had no idea what they would do for the finish. but looking back this match was arguably the worst ever. i feel so sorry for everone involved who worked hard on the show to make it great, only to be let down by this. the crowd were awesome BUT may have contributed to the poor standard of the match. Rating: 1/10 WWE Tag Team Titles - Fatal Four Way WGTT should have the belts. it is scandal they werent booked to win. Rating: 6/10 Victoria vs. Molly Holly this could have had more time. we could have seen the widows peak. molly could have kept her hair Rating: 6/10 Eddie Guerrero vs. Kurt Angle this was superb, but loses a point purely for not being one of the best matches ever, which it could have been Rating: 9/10 Kane vs. The Undertaker takers entrance was awesome. the in-ring work wasnt great, but who expected that anyway. squashes are rarely brilliant, but a great tomstone to round things off Rating: 7/10 World Title - Triple Threat Match hhh tapped clean! to someone other than hbk! that alone is worth all 10 marks. but to see benoit win was fantastic. and great aftermatch celebration with eddie Rating: 10/10 overall i say great show!! |
