Roster Trades - Who should go where?

Looking at internet rumors over the last couple of months, I think WWE is in need of some roster trades. People are itching to change up who feuds with who, and I think that post-Wrestlemania will be the time to do it. I think that WWE should make a special out of it - have a roster trade special that happens on a Thursday night on Spike TV following the conculsion of Smackdown, allowing Paul Heyman and Eric Bischoff to each get to trade five superstars. The rule can be that champions can't be drafted, but everyone else is fair game. That said, here's who I'd trade:

Rob Van Dam to Smackdown
This one is a given. RVD is stale on Raw - they've had nothing for him for over a year. He's not the greatest guy on the stick, but he can be an entertaining worker when he does something outside of his standard routine. If, for some odd reason, John Cena doesn't get the US title from Big Show at Mania, I'd have RVD be first in line. Or, with Kurt Angle's new pursuit to fix all that is wrong with America campaign, he can feud with the Olympic Champion since he's a "stoner" (which would have to be played up more on TV first).

Edge to Raw
Edge going to Raw would be a great way to make his return even bigger than it would be with him going to Smackdown. A heel turn for him would be awesome, too. I say dye his hair black and have him go evil on Chris Jericho.

Bubba Ray Dudley to Smackdown
The Dudleys suck on Raw. They've run their course as a tag team, but neither were given much to work with in their short solo runs after the brand split first happened, so they were put back together. I'd like to see them feud with Shelton Benjamin & Charlie Haas. They'd do wonders for the Smackdown tag division, instead of being Heat regulars on the Raw roster.

Billy Gunn to Raw
While Billy will forever be the guy who "should" have what it takes to get over but never can, I think he has some worth on Raw in their tag division. I think that WWE should either try to get back the Road Dogg (which could be tough, since I believe he's under a contract with TNA now) or that they should repackage Val Venis and have him team up with Billy. They've got similar physiques and ringwork, so they'd make a decent tag team.

D-Von Dudley to Smackdown
They have Bubba, so they need D-Von, too.

Sean O'Haire to Raw
I like his ringwork and his gimmick was great until they tied him in with Roddy Piper and then dropped him when Piper abruptly left. He'd make a good I-C contender, if they give him TV time - especially devoting time back to his pretaped vignettes - those were cool. The Seanton bomb is a sweet move, too - and he can have free reign over it since Jeff Hardy isn't around any more. A lot of potential here, IMO.

Booker T to Smackdown
Booker and RVD are obviously in the same boat, as they're tag team champions right now, in spite of them not being a tag team at all. He's hit the glass ceiling on Raw, and has since been forgotten about. He should fare better on the Smackdown roster.

Rhyno to Raw
He's doing nothing on Smackdown - so why not move him to Raw. What's the worst that could happen? It's not like he's where Matt Hardy was on the SD roster prior to moving over (and down) to Raw.

Lance Storm to Smackdown
He sucks as a face and gets no cred on Raw. He could easily be a US title division contender if given the right push. Plus, he already has a history with renaming the US belt anyhow, so why not let him get a run as the "Canadian Champion?"

Matt Morgan to Raw
Raw has more talented people not being used than Smackdown right now, so I figured that I should pick someone Smackdown wouldn't miss, but that could do some good things on Raw. I say Evolution drops Batista in favor of Morgan. He'd fit in the group better than Dave, and would have a program going into his jump to Raw.

At the risk of making this topic insanely long, I'd also like to see some sneakiness on behalf of Paul Heyman at some point, to get a women's roster started on Smackdown. Raw has so many women wrestlers, but isn't able to properly devote enough time to all of them at once, so I think that Heyman should pull a coup at Summerslam (the next co-promoted PPV). I think that Victoria should still be the women's champ going into the event, going against someone like Lita. They should make a mention on the last Raw going into the event that Lita needs to re-sign her contract with Raw, as it would be set to expire the Monday following Summerslam. She could have a manila envelope delivered to her, saying it is her contract. Instead of a Raw contract, however, it could be a Smackdown contract. She goes into Summerslam, wins the belt, then defects to Smackdown. Heyman can gloat on TV that he not only stole Lita and the Women's Championship, but he also has taken advantage of Bischoff's ignoring of other women's contract expirations, as he has signed Ivory, Jacqueline, and possibly a returning Chyna (doubtful, but it'd make it a bigger deal). Bischoff would have to come up with a counter plan for the Raw divas, so he'd hold a tournament for a new WWE Women's World Championship (as opposed to Smackdown's WWE Women's Championship). That'd make for some interesting TV, since the competition between brands would be elevated, and some underused talent would get a fair shake.

Raw Guys to go to Smackdown

Kane: It just makes sense. Allows his flat heel character to be rejuvenated.. it gives Eddie someone to feud against (Again as underdog if needs be). Imagine the sight of Kane coming over really pissed off and badass, tearing through the roster. Would be cool.

3/4 of Evolution: It could be made as one angle, just have Randy turn on Haitch, and lead them to shores new. It would add Batista to the US division, give Randy a push to the World Title scene, and a persistent US title push, and it gives SD Flair. What's not to love?

Matt Hardy: His Raw push has failed. Move him back.. have Heyman "take him back to get one over on Bischoff". Screw Lita, Matt.. think of your fans!

Rob Van Dam Seems a popular choice. Send him over.

Smackdown Guys to go to Raw

Sean O' Haire I like the idea, could give the IC division and himself a boot up the arse. Nice.

Edge Only time I've ever liked him was with Christian. Just team them up again, or turn him heel anyway.

Smackdown is extremely short-handed. they need some more top-level stars. RVD and Booker would be good, since theyve been so stagnant for so long. A move would probably re-invigorate their careers, like it sorta did for Big Show. even if you hate him, and i know a lot of you do, you gotta admit the smackdown staff has done a much better job with him than Raw.

What I also thought about them doing was having Hurricane enter the cruiserweight open, then winning and being forced to move to Smackdown, since thats where the CW division is

Stacy and Miss Jackie to Smackdown, in exchange for Nidia and Dawn. Nidia and Dawn can actually bump, and theyre being wasted on Smackdown. Stacy can fued with Torrie or something

I disagree with Kane, I can't see Kane on SD. He belongs on RAW. RAW is Kane's home.

But anyways, my choices:

Edge to RAW: I agree. EDGE AND CHRISTIAN REUNION!!!!! PLEEEEEAAAaaasseee.....!!!! Enough said?

Dawn Marie to RAW: I'm sick of Dawn Marie being the valet for bosses like Vince and Paul Heyman. Sheesh. I want Dawn Marie on RAW where she can get more screen time. She's a good performer and a beautiful woman, I want to see more Dawn. We don't see much of her on SD.

Scott Steiner to Smackdown: With Brock Lesnar quitting WWE for good, I think Poppa Pump should go to SD. He'd be a good filler in the main event for SD. I can see Steiner feuding with Big Show, Kurt Angle, Chavo, etc. Steiner doesn't get much TV time on RAW. I am pissed that Steiner isn't on the card for WMXX yet. He should be.

Mark Henry and Theodore Long to Smackdown: For some reason I don't see these guys RAW guys. I think they pretty much fit on the Smackdown roster. I don't know why they moved Henry to RAW, they should have kept him on SD.

I kindof want to see scott vs. big show. it would be the slowest match in history but it would be........ :confuse: I can't think of why but I want to see it

I agree Steiner to SD. But i dont know about a show/scott match. Scott does ALOT of suplexs, and the big show is......well....HUGE. Belly to belly? I dont know how that would work, Not saying it wouldn't just saying well....It'd be interresting.

Edge (to RAW) - I'd kill for an E & C reunion.

Dawn Marie (to RAW) - please reunite her with Lance, as I recall they were over in ECW or vice versa, send Lance to SmackDown.

The Dudley Boyz (to SmackDown): The tag division on SD is dead, send the Boyz over there and put Spike in the cruiserweight division.

RVD (to Smackdown): Let's face it, he's gone nowhere on RAW and ever since Suvivor Series of last year, they...Hunter...I mean the bookers have made sure he wouldn't be going anywhere.

Stacy & Jackie (to Smackdown): I agree with pinkiceangel with that one. Let those two feud with the other two who can't wrestle for s**t and trade them for the divas who can actually bump, since RAW is a more "wrestling diva" show.

Everyone else on Smackdown should be sent to OVW or McDonald's.
