WRESTLER Jake ‘The Snake’ Roberts is being prosecuted — for starving his pet python to death.


RSPCA inspectors seized 12-ft Damien after a tip-off he was being neglected at the ex-WWF star’s home in London Colney, Herts.

The Burmese python died days later.

New Yorker Roberts, 50, denies causing unnecessary suffering.

He could be jailed for up to six months.

I think Jake should get a fine rather than go to jail because its a snake for fuck sakes not a baby. Can you go to jail for starving a gold fish to death? I think not.

Jail lol, it's not a puppy farm it is a snake. Who knows what was going on. Maybe it was sick or soemthing and wasn't eating. How would someone know he was neglecting it. Sounds bogus to me.

Like Quaggy said. Would you go to jail for starving your goldfish? I see a huge difference between a dog and a snake. Don't ask me why. I just do.

I don't think what Jake did was right. But I also don't think wasting good tax dollars on a snake killer is justified either.

I find it funny how the snake died after they took it away from him and not before they took it away from him. He should sue them for killing it :lol:

The whole thing about them being tipped off is a bit odd. I mean, who would do that? If It was his friend why wouldn't they just ask him about it or say dood feed the snake he is going to die.

How would some random person know he was under fed. Don't they eat like a couple of times a month or something?

Why would he die after being taken away days later. One would think if he was under fed that after being fed he would get better not die.

How could you look at a snake and say it was underfed.

Snakes are notorious for not eating this time of year, including mine right now. He hasn't eaten in two months but he is still perfectly healthy. It does seem bogus if somebody tipped off animal control.
