| Contract signings - yay/nay I'm not a fan of these public "contract signings". It is my opinion that they always end the same way. I didn't even watch RAW tonight but I'd bet a fight broke out towards the end of a long and boring segment. Isn't that the whole point to the contract signing? Otherwise why would they use a segment on WWE TV to show us it? They could just do it off-camera, in theory (since we all know there's really no such thing as individual match contract signings). I think it's overdone and WWE should come up with new ways to progress feuds. Agree? | ||||||||||||||

| I agree with you that the contract signings are stupid most of the time and pointless. The almost always end in a predictable way but this one was interesting and they used it pretty well to set up what is to come. | ||||||||||||||

| Nah, I'd much, much rather have Benoit/HHH. No HBK involved, just a simple one on one Wrestlemania main event, where I now bet it'll be a Triple Threat, maybe even a fatal-fourway if someone else gets involved. And I could not give one damn about that. | ||||||||||||||

| Ya meither either but I know it is going to be a 3-way, that is why I said what happened made it interesting as to how they are going to lead up to it. One on One would be much better. How funny would it be if Benoit pins HBK. HHH would still be able to say he didn't lose to Benoit lol. You have to admit this only adds to what people say about HHH. I mean come on, HBK now in the match? Doesn't take much to see why that is. | ||||||||||||||

| Mark my words: Benoit pins HBK at Wrestlemania, and HHH reclaims his vanity belt at Backlash. But hey, HHH burying the entire roster = ratings, right? | ||||||||||||||

| Three-ways and fatal fourways should NEVER be used for a WrestleMania match, especially a title match. It's stupid and lazy. | ||||||||||||||

| This twist used in the contract signing makes no sense in the real world. If Chris Beniot's name was on the contract how would Shawn Michaels' signature make it legal? If a guy in the crowd jumped the rail and signed his name on Chris Beniot's contract it wouldn't give him a match with HHH. It would be invalid. I'm surprised JV, being the stickler for small details that he is, didn't point that out in the Raw review. | ||||||||||||||

| That reminds me of a booking suggestion i read somewhere once (it may have even been here on the board): what if, during a ladder match, someone not in the match ran out, climbed the ladder, and grabbed the belt? Would that person be the champ? Would the match end? Would the first person to grab the belt from the "intruder" become champ? Interesting stuff. I'm surprised they never did it before As for contract signings: they suck. plain and simple | |||||||||||||||
