Is the internet community too harsh on WWE?

Well, are we?

I feel at times, we are overly harsh. But much of their criticism is deserved. Their booking can suck, they push the wrong people.. Yipe.

Wrestling should be lucky we exist. What other group of fans would create sites and spend a lot of time complaining about something they are not enjoying and still love? Other fans would say F this and just find something else to watch or entertian themselves with. Most fans are loyal and stick around giving their input in how things will improve.

I doubt that any of the people in charge would ever admit it, but I bet they really like our input. They just need to use it more often and maybe take a chance and accept that we know what we like to see, instead of them trying to tell us what we want to see.

It's hard not to be harsh given what is currently going on. It's better than just silently putting up with BS.

It's not like the internet community never says anything good about wrestling. Back when WWF attitude was red hot and NWO was still hip they had a lot of great things to say, infact that's mostly why you see so many sites up now (though, of course a lot fewer than before).

I know everyone's entitled to their opinion and sure the writer must just sit around for hours making spit buble for hours until they write out a half assed storyline. But hey can you blame them? There are very few people here that have actully been a part of a wrestling oganization. Writing weekly strotylines seems to me like a very hard job, I can imagine them getting very little sleep. Then to bring up a fued that happend 12 decades ago or a fued that happend in another company, that's is ideal, but they just want to do their jobs in the here and now. Sometime stuff like matches that Mark Henry and Chris Benoit had on Smackdown can be forggotten. Adding past fueds to the new feuds probibly compicates things.

I know it might seem like are critisimim is justified (most of the time it is, but think about it if you were in their shoes for a half a year.

I dont think we're too harsh. I used to be the one of the biggest wrestling fan and i dont watch it as much as I used to anymore. Wrestling today does suck, most of the times, but like Ida said, WWE is lucky to have such die-hard fans. Any other show would have been cancelled by now...well WCW and ECW has.
