Who's the best "All-round Package" in the WWE?

Some wrestlers focus on one thing in their repetoire, and get it nailed, but then they neglect the other aspects that it takes to be a great all round wrestler.

Benoit, Rey Mysterio, Rhyno, Rob Van Dam and Kane are all entertaining in the ring, but they're not known for their mic skills.

Steiner (Amongst others) can do it on the mic, but isn't loved by all for his in-ring ability (Though admittedly his have deteriorated over the last few years).

So who's the best all round package? Here's some of my suggestions..

*Kurt Angle. The man is the bomb in the ring, and he really surprised me when he first got on the microphone. He is BRILLIANT at protraying a heel character, good at doing face.. he is the definitive all round package. The man's gold. Literally.

*Brock Lesnar. Not someone I love, but he can get in done in all sections. No wonder he got such a push.

*Eddie Guerrero. He's extremely over due to the mixture of his phenomonal in-ring skills and his humour on the mic. Great man.

*John Cena. He is very capable in the ring, and on the microphone he's even better. Reminds me of the Rock so far in that he almost has the crowd eating out of his hand. Love him.

*Randy Orton. I think he plays the smug Legend Killer character to perfection, and I think he's great in the ring. Go Orton.. woooo!

Those are the ones that instantly spring to mind.. Now, you go.

You left out the most obviously and clear cut winner of this subject.

Chris Jericho

*Can mic both BabyFace and Heel very well.
*Adds some humor to his promos. (most overlooked talent is pure charisma for the camera)
*Can wrestle anyone. Big, Small, old, green.
*Has maintained one of the top positions in the WWE the past 4 years without winning much gold. Using himself rather than the gold to get over.
*Sweet Entrance (although a new one wouldnt kill him at this point)

Good topic 3D

Although he didnt instantly come to mind, Christian is the total package. Sure he's not a main eventer, but he's enteraining in the ring, his character is great without being too over the top, and he delivers one of the best promos in the buisness. Although we havent seen him in a while, I think Edge is said to be working on his mike work. The guy is funny, but cant do serious very well. If he works on that, he'd totally be on the list

I'd have to say Kurt Angle, Chris Jericho and John Cena. Those guys are the highlight of their respective shows.

What about big show? He's all round crap!

I'd say Angle, Jericho, Christian, and Hurricane - good in the ring, competant on the mic, good comedy character, it works. Eddie and Chavo are well up there, as well as Cena and Orton.

I guess they aren't really active wrestles anymore, but they were and could be, Steve Austin in his prime and The Rock.

I know a lot of people don't like his wrestling, but he can put on a damn good match with most anybody.

Nobody will ever come close to The Rock.

He is the the best all round talent.

Newcastle United Football Club, the only team that matters.

I almost forgot about the Rock. He is an incredible "sports entertainer"

A lot of people say the Rock only does like 3 moves. First of all, thats not entirely true. He does mix it up a little. He may not have a repertoire of moves like Kurt Angle, but he's got a bunch. Plus he also does the "basic" moves (clotheslines, punches, etc) better than anyone else, in my opinion. He also takes other peoples moves very well (though he usually forgets to sell them once he takes control again)

Austin is a also great all-around. Again, hes not Kurt Angle in the ring, but then again, hes not supposed to be. But he consistently put on great matches (versus Bret Hart at WM 13 and versus Kurt Angle at Summerslam 2001 are two of my favorites, not to mention the WM matches vs. the Rock), plus his character is great, and his mic skills are good.

The true total package though, is (surprise, surprise) Kurt Angle in my opinion. The man can do it all. He can brawl with Austin, have a technical match with Benoit, he can high-fly a little (his moonsault is perfect). He is effective on the mic in both heel and face roles. Good entrance with appropriate music

Others that are close: Brock Lesnar - needs to work on his mic skills a little, but otherwise, this guy is a diamond in the rough.

John Cena - great character, plays to the crowd well. Isnt quite there with his in-ring presence though

Chris Jericho - only his size keeps him from being one of the best (dont let anyone fool you, size is important). Eddie Guererro fits into this category too.

HBK - a little too old now, but still phenomenal. Plus he dresses like hes marching in a gay pride parade during his entrances (not that theres anything wrong with that...)

i'm not quite sold on Orton yet, although hes slowly winning me over. Christian just doesnt have that star quality the other guys have, but hes pretty solid otherwise

I'd say Al Snow, is in ring work is admititidly above average, it's better than regular average. His mic skills are what make him shine, and personally, if the WWE didn't get rid of hardcore matches, he'd still be a strong mid-carder. Molly and Christain both have great ring and mic skills, but they both lack gimmick and Molly being a bitch and christain being petty doen't always cut it. It pains me to say it, but as of now, they are boooooooooooooooooooooooooooorrrrinmg.
