~During last week's Smackdown meeting, Vince McMahon implied that certain wrestlers would be "Flipping Burgers Somewhere" if they didn't start contributing to the product more. This apparently struck a nerve with some of the wrestlers as they feel McMahon is taking the wrong approach to motivate the wrestlers.

~At the Jan 12 RAW meeting, Trish, HHH, Tommy Dreamer, Lance Storm, and Earl Hebner were the ones who spoke up about various topics. When Trish brought up how she felt it would be more effective to have house show cards more closely reflect current storylines and how it would get the crowd more into the matches, she was shot down and made to look stupid by McMahon in front of all the other WWE staff. Just another case of McMahon's public humiliation in an attempt to motivate and boost his ego.

Now does this kond of anger anyone else? Vince holds a meeting to ask advice form the wrestlers and staff of how to improve, only to shoot them down. Now it might just be me, but Trish's idea didnt seem that far off. By no means did she deserve to be shot down and humiliated. Now correct me if I'm wrong here, (which i may be) but Trish hasnt appeared in a wrestling compacity on Raw since that night. If anything Vince should be thanking the wrestlers for putting in their input. Trish is well respected backstage and makes the company huge money through media and such. Lord knows it IS NOT the wrestlers fault for the companys decline. Be it the writers or Vince's himself, it is clearly not the wrestlers. Any coincidence that one of the best angles on the show in many's opinions, including my own, the Jericho/Trish thing, is said to be written by them? I really hate the fact that Vince is trying to motivate the wrestlers, whos fault the decline clearly isnt, by berating and insulting them!!

Theres my little rant.. lol, any opinions?

I totally agree pink. If Vince keeps this up he and his business may very well go down like WCW. That company didn't want to listen to the wrestlers either. Look what happened.

Is typical Vince McMahon bull that we've had for the last 3 years. He bought WCW to him hes the man andwhat he says goes. Its only a matter of time beofre others follow Spanky's example and start leaving andbefore long it will be someone who is valuable. Eventually. Imagine in TNA start getting more commerical business and media exposure. Man VInce would have an exodus of middle card and lower card guys leaving him with main events such as HHH vs Taker, Lesner vs Taker, HHH vs whoesvers left and we'veseen it all before. It'd be great.

It seems weird that Vince would humiliate Trish (one of his biggest stars), just because he did not agree with her opinion. If he did, hes an idiot....and I agree with you Pinky, in that the decline in business, has nothing to do with the wrestlers, but the writers and maybe Vince himself. :roll:

I'm sorry but... :lol: *ROFLMAO* :lol: Do you honestly believe that? Do you consider her to be a vet or something? Sure, she's slightly respected 'cause everyone is but Vinnie Mac (should this story be true) had every right to shoot her down. Not saying that her idea was bad but she's not exactly a vet. There's a heirarchy in wrestling and she's not at the level that Vinnie would start listening to her.

She was in the meeting so that means her input was suppose to be welcome. It was childish to treat her like that or anyone else for that matter. How would you like it if your boss treated you like that if you had a suggestion in front of your fellow employees? That's what I thought.

Did i say she was a well repected vet? No, i said she was respected. She has been mentioned as one of the hardest workers in the company. Serisouly though, it wouldnt matter who made it, from HHH to Gail Kim, it was a logical comment, and she didnt deserve to be embarssed. I also question, why was she the only one who was centred out? Were the other sugguestions all that brilliant? Or was Vince picking favorites?
