Rep Power: 6 ![]() | Another let's rate the wrestler's type post. With The Jimmy Awards going and some reminescing with the year end highlight shows I started thinking along those lines. I had no ideas until I saw Ric Flair and Batista make their entrance to the ring, I thought how boring was that! They saundered down, Batista showed his belt Flair opened his robe. Can you feel the excitement brewing? So I began thinking of ring entrances and what kind of impact they have for wrestlers. Ditch the music and the pyros and most just walk out to the ring... BORING! So what I am asking is, with that in mind, who do you think has the best ring entrance past or present? And not just the one time big entrances either. On a nightly basis who do you think has a decent entrance, even without music or pyros? Here are some I could think of: Goldberg: Does his arm thing while walking down and has that silly kick he does, but still he's not just walking out. Rey: Pops out, runs down rubbing with fans along the way. Rock, SCSA and others: get to the ring and do the pillar to pillar thing. Trish: Has a gallop and the hair flip... Lita: A style of her own. Brock: Jumps up on the apron... Guereros: With the low rider... Adrian Adonis: Would twirl and spray his perfume... Jackie (the one with Stevie Richards, right?): She has her psycho entrance thing. Poppa Pump: Pumping and kissing the guns. And the list goes on. There were many great entrances in the past, Jake with Damian...until he just started throwing the bad in the corner until later. So bring up some old, some new and let us know why you think those entrances are worthy of mention. Also state your favorite. My Favorite: UNDERTAKER! The bike, the fist up to the crowd, the nominal threat to the ref or the opponent as he walks past. Even the Dead man gimmick had it's entrance with the lights, the arms raising, the hair flip with the eyes... Chances are this topic isn't interesting enough to generate alot of repsonses, but it just brings up one more aspect of the athlete's as a total package/ marketing machine. Also it makes you think. Thanks all that do respond. |

I thought his music fit perfectly, and he played the role so well that he really made it a part of his entrance i like HHH's entrance too. awesome music. gets up on the apron just at the right time in the song. The water-spitting is cool too I also like Jericho's entrance. | |

Rep Power: 7 ![]() | I like Hurricane's entrance. Also, Test's very, very dull entrance gives us good warning to switch over. |

Rep Power: 6 ![]() | Rob Van Dam does it perfectly for his character. Either walks out quickly with a purpose in mind, or walks out slowly to a waiting crowd that's dying to cheer him. Making them wait, he walks a lil way with a smug smile, and when his name is announced, he does his RVD hand taunt. Fits him perfectly. |
