Given the recent spate of old wrestlers returning.. all of them failing pretty dismally may I add.. One has to ask ones self if there is anyone left to bring back?

Lets look at the legendary list of failed returns..

Scott Hall
Kevin Nash
Hulk Hogan
Roddy Piper
Scott Steiner
Goldberg
Ric Flair
Sable

I'll forgive Eric Bischoff because I do find him entertaining in his skits with Austin.

Are there any big names left to see? All I can think of is Randy Savage and Sting. But then again do the fans really want to see these people? Sure its great for a mark out moment, but as soon as the bell rings they are exposed as being pretty worthless.

So can you think of anyone you would like to see return? Or are they best kept off TV altogether?

I don't think Ric Flair and Sable are doing that bad personally.

I also think Flair has had a good run back in the WWE. The guy is late 50 something. The only angle that bombed on him was half owner of the WWE, (which should and could have been huge)

The rest are pretty dissapointing.

One person who has come back, and was supposed to be a joke.....Golddust. he is having a nice little run for a guy that was only supposed to be there a day.

DD's Favorite of All Times

I finally played live and it was fantastic.

I wouldn't mind seeing Paul Bearer brough back in as manager of Kane. He could bring along Big Van Vader in as a mentor of somewhat.

I cant help but see Flair as nothing but a Joke lately with his cheap run in tactics in HHH matches. I know he is the Dirtiest Player and all.. But it saddens me to see him as a lap dog rather than a mentor

The only reason you think Hogan failed, is because you hate Hogan, but look at all that's happend with him there:

-People pop for him 8,343,511,002 times a minute
-At WM 18 he and the Rock put on a good show
-Hogan got a new gimmick
-At times tv raitings were raised
-When the rating sucked that day people STILL cheered for Hogan.

Hogan's return Challenge.....si, but a failure far from it.

I do not hate hogan.. And im pretty sure ive never conveyed that I have hated him.

I classed him as a failiure because of this Mr America nonsense and his current standing with the company.

Hogan can't wrestle but his return was not a failure. I think he became even more popular than he already was.

I wouldnt go that far Spinny. But on the other hand this is a totally different Era.

Hogan doesnt fit in modern wrestling.. All pops for him were purely nostalgic

I would. He came back and there are new kids who have never heard of him that became fans. Like you said is is a different era so he made fans in this era and added those to all the fans he already had ;) And also like I said there were a lot of kids who were wearing hulk shirts. They are to young to be nostalgic ;)
