| Does anyone remember Wrestling Buddies? There is a certain age group which I'm sure does. They were these stuffed wrestler things that you could wrestle and beat the crap out of. I had Ultimate Warrior and Hulk Hogan. They were fun when you were young. I remember inviting friends over and we'd get our wrestling buddies and all attack each other. Great times. Do they still make anything like this? Anyone know what I'm talking about? If so, who did you have? | ||||||||||||||

| I remember those...My cousins had those things. I think one of them had Warrior. It's funny, I can still remember what the first ever action figs looked like. They were 12" tall and bendable plastic. They had King Kong Bundy, Hogan, Hillbilly Jim, Nikolai Volkoff, Iron Sheik, Andre The Giant, Macho, Liz, Mene Gene, Blassie...Man I'm old - LOL !!! | |||||||||||||||

| Yes I remember Wrestling Buddies.. always advertised on the back of WWF Magazine in the early 90s. It would show two kids wrestling these things on their bed.. and the bed had ropes around it made from bed sheets. I did have a Randy Savage one.. Although i found they were too small to do some good moves too. So i stole my sisters huge 4ft teddy bear instead. | ||||||||||||||

| "They were 12" tall and bendable plastic." I slightly remember them. I didn't have any. My age group was more after that. Hasbro? I can't remember who made them but there was a long time that I was obsessed with them. I had the following: Hulk Hogan, Macho Man, The Rockers, Demolition, Andre The Giant, Yokozuna, Jake "The Snake" Roberts, Superfly, Sgt. Slaughter, The Million Dollar Man, and....hmm. Can't seem to remember. I had a lot more. I also had the WWF ring. What did other people have? | ||||||||||||||

I think it was the same Range.. i had Mr Wonderful, Tony Atlas, Killer Bees, Hart Foundation, Andre, Bruno Sammartino, Tito Santana.. i had loads! They werent so bendy though.. they would bend yes.. but they wouldnt stay in position. The next range I had were the hard plastic ones.. and they all had 'special moves' Hogan would do a press slam type thing.. DiBiasa would Stomp on his opponent if you pulled his arm back.. Smash of Demolition would punch someone if you wound his arm back... Ah Yes.. Those were the days. I must look for that Savage wresting buddy too.. it has to be up my mothers house because i dont think i threw any of my old wrestling stuff away.

I remember I had Ultimate Warrior and Big Bossman, too. I always wanted The Mountee so he could feud with Bossman, never happened though.

My cousins never got the ring, so they made one of their own out of stryofoam, popsicle sticks and string. They even made belts out of pennies, nickels, paper and tape. That was very creative. I admit, I still collect action figures, the more recent ones, actually. Figure they'll be worth something, someday.

| Before I got my wrestling ring for Christmas I made one out of a block of wood, these wooden things that I nailed into it, and rubber bands for ring ropes. It sucked though, it was way too small. It was great when I actually got the wrestling ring. The toys nowadays seem quite fancy. I don't like the talking crap. I remember they had talking toys when I was a kid and I hated it. It limited your ability to imagine things (because the idiot toy would just spurt out crap). PS. The cartoon ruled, I never missed it. Anyone remember the plot lines? | ||||||||||||||

| christ.. I made a wooden ring too. it was also way too small.. there wasnt even room for a suplex. I did eventually get around to buying the proper plastic one.. Came with a WWF title belt too. I also bought a WCW ring.. it came with a Cage.. A Springy platform in the corner for people to jump off.. and a bendy corner post. Plot lines in Rock n Wrestle? It was basically just the bad guys like Lou Albano and Jimmy Hart getting up to dastardly Deeds.. athen hogan would come along in his Hulk Mobile and save the world. | ||||||||||||||
