RAW Thoughts - Spoilers, obviously

Here's a few random notes from what I caught of RAW last night.

1. Lance Storm ... babyface ... not doing it for me. Too over the top, the "I love Austin" thing was awful, not to mention Austin's run in where Jericho was taunting him while Y2J and Christian beat on Storm and RVD came down for the save. Why did Austin come to the ring? Why did RVD come to the ring? What the hell did this segment achieve?

2. Kane and Shane. No idea what the deal is here. If Kane comes back next week though I'm going to scream. Maybe he'll come back in a month with a new look or something. Regardless, he's tired already. Way to go guys, you ruined Kane again, as if he had any dignity left after X-Pac ran all over him.

3. Mark Henry ... the Legend Killer 2? What the hell? Who let him cut that promo? Randy Orton must have vomited almost as much as HBK did - he's now the token "crappy Legend" that everyone beats up on? BLECH.

4. Maven and Flair. Interesting idea, but the promo ... did Flair trend towards racist commentary or was it just me? Regardless, he was intense, but I think he might've gone a bit overboard. Glad to see that WWE is pushing the right member of Evolution though - the 55 year old one, while the incredibly talented Orton watches Mark Henry call himself a Legend killer and gives Flair a hot tag.

i watched Raw for a combined 3 minutes last night. heres what i saw:

a replay of the shane-kane thing. that looked pretty ####ing cool actually. the shot of the bloody kane was pretty graphic

the highlight reel. pretty boring, actually. watching lance storm do the cabbage patch was brutal. but at least the "austin changed my life. i'm having fun and i'm happy thing" shows that they didnt just forget about the "Boring" angle, and that there actually was some long-term planning involved

the maven-flair backstage altercation. "I've had more world championships than youve had women" Great line. Flair is the man

They WWE screwed up. Anybody with half a brain knows it was a different car than Kane went in. But they could of at least broke the windows on the other car since Kane broke them. Unless windows grow back and I didn't notice ;)

Actually spinoff, Kane broke the left window they showed the right side afterwards....I do believe, But we all know Kane wasnt in the car when it crashed. Even we the fans aren't that stupid.

Here are my weekly complaints about RAW:

-[b:post_uid0]Kane and Shane[/b:post_uid0] - enough is enough. That whole segment was just cheese and a bloody waste of time. How stupid do they think the viewers are? As soon as I saw that, I said here's another pre-taped segment (two in the same night!?) - anyone remember Triple H getting dropped from a crane a while back? And of couse they'll have Kane come back next week all fine and freaking dandy! Whatever happened to "Selling an injury", so it's a lost art form now, but come on!

-[b:post_uid0]Interview segment with Y2J and his cronies[/b:post_uid0]. OK, I like Y2J and Christian, but Lance...Oh dear God, would someone please turn him back to the serious wrestler he was in WCW and ECW (knocks head on desk).

-[b:post_uid0]Greenberg and Mark Henry [/b:post_uid0]- didn't even bother to watch that one...two words: Who Cares?

-Molly...Molly...Molly...you can wrestle girl, but you can't cut a promo for beans! Having to listen to her do commentary during [b:post_uid0]Gail[/b:post_uid0]"I still have no character whatsoever" vs. [b:post_uid0]Lita[/b:post_uid0] was PAINFUL.

The only good bits were:

-[b:post_uid0]Y2J/Christian vs. RVD/Storm [/b:post_uid0]- match of the night, amid the rest of the garbage on the show.

-[b:post_uid0]Steiner The A**hole returns[/b:post_uid0]: Works better as a heel in my opinion, but needs to get rid of the heat killer named Test.

But that's just my opinion of course

Shame that HHH was still shoved down our throats even though he is supposed to be out.

Every fúcking segment Jr would say 'HHH aint here tonight'. Pathetic.

"Nice arm drag by Jericho.. and HHH aint here tonight"
"Bah Gawd what a clothesline.. and HHH aint here tonight folks!"

Its getting ridiculous. We all know who he is.. and we all know he aint here tonight and wont be for a while. I understand he has an angle going on with the bounty on Goldbergs head.. but now i fear it is nothing more than an excuse to get HHH talked about on every fúckin show.
