Rep Power: 17 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I was just wondering who u people out there thought had a chance to be a great wrestler, but was never given a fair chance or got injured or whatever......in my opinion Lash Leroux had the talent to be a great one, because of his looks and charisma, but for whatever reason never made it big.... ::baa::

Rep Power: 17 ![]() | Before Crush got jailed for using drugs I thought he could have been huge. He looked awesome as Kona Crush ('92-'93) but when he finally returned to wrestling a few years later he was not nearly as impressive. You may say he still made it big by just getting to WWE, but he should have been at least IC champion at some point, IMO.

Rep Power: 6 ![]() | He had ECW Clout and all the right moves, but because he was in stupid angles and wore stupid cloths and his mic skills were non existant poor Flash Funk/Scorpio was always doing the job. **sigh** |

Rep Power: 7 ![]() | Jody Fleisch is promising to be one of those. Could be big if given the chance. One of the most promising British wrestlers I've seen. I reckon Essa Rios (now wrestles as Mr. Aguila) could have been a Rey Mysterio if used properly. |

Rep Power: 6 ![]() | Great post. Keep in mind I'm kind of old school, so most of my picks come from the early 90's. [b:post_uid0]Marty Jannetty[/b:post_uid0]: Sure, he always lived in the shadow of HBK post-Rockers breakup, but he was good in the ring, had charisma, and had a decent look (which unfortunately never evolved past 1988). I am still holding out for a heel Jannetty to surprise attack HBK on Raw one of these days. [b:post_uid0]"Beautiful" Bobby Eaton[/b:post_uid0]: One of the greatest tag team guys ever who was held in tag teams too long. I think that if he had dropped maybe 10 pounds, he could have been a premier mid-to-upper-mid-card guy. In spite of that, he's still an all-time great. [b:post_uid0]Paul Roma[/b:post_uid0]: Underrated guy who never got a gimmick. I always thought he was a good worker with decent charisma. Power & Glory (with Hercules) was one of the WWF's better tag teams of the early 90's. [b:post_uid0]The Warlord[/b:post_uid0]: Kind of slow in the ring and not much in the way of mic skills, but his look and gimmick (post-Powers of Pain, that is) more than made up for that. Had they only booked him to be a monster, he would have been huge. [b:post_uid0]Rick Martel[/b:post_uid0]: It's too bad he never got beyond his "Model" gimmick after the Strike Force broke up. He knew how to play to the crowd, and had a decent look. [b:post_uid0]Bull Buchanan[/b:post_uid0]: Not much on the mic, from what I could tell, but he had some cool in-ring work and a decent look. Too bad he had crappy gimmicks. [b:post_uid0]Black Blood[/b:post_uid0]: Anyone else remember this guy? He was early 90's WCW and did a guillotine leg drop off of the 2nd rope. For some reason, I always thought he was cool. [b:post_uid0]Essa Rios[/b:post_uid0]: Ditto Matt S. He was awesome. I think WWE would take him back in a second if he knew how to speak English.

The Rockers were the best tag team ever.

Rep Power: 7 ![]() | BLACK BLOOD huh? So in that breath you are saying that Billy Jack Haynes should have been a big star because they are the same person.. unless of course you are counting the gimmick over the wrestler. Ted DiBiase should have been a long serving heel champ.. no doubt the greatest heel in history and its a travesty he was always the top faces' bitch. |

No, I was definitely a fan of his gimmick, but he wasn't completely without in the ring, either. Interesting... Amen on Ted DiBiase. I almost put him, but he was a huge heel for the WWF in the late 80's/early 90's, so I think he [i:post_uid0]was[/i:post_uid0] great, and didn't fall into the could've been great category. It is a shame that they never put the WWF title on him, though.
