Rep Power: 0 ![]() | very well booked raw for once i cant believe WWE actually convinced me that KANE had a good shot at triple H. I mean think about that A guy who had been a bum since the one night he held the belt to beat the unbeatable HHH. I cant believe they almost had me convinced. Glad they didnt cop out on him losing the mask either should make for some interesting new angles. It was also nice to see an old school tag match with some nice ring psychology between michales nash flair and orton Should be interesting to see what they do with Foley im sure many non internet fans believe is going somewhere God even Goldberg was booked nicely looking like an animal and crushing that piece of crap Rodney Mack Hats off to the WWE hope they keep it up any other thoughts about raw last night? |

Hopefully for him he wont always have to keep his hair like that

Rep Power: 36 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | i thought the end was terrible too. but i did enjoy the match that preceded it. and i am looking forward to where they go with it (basically because i'm an RVD fan and i want WWE to actually do something with him. i'm also curious as to who Trips will fight at Summerslam) and i definitely couldnt help but laugh every time lance storm tagged in and the crowd was chanting "Boring". i know it sucks for him, and he's talented and all, and i wish he could get over without being put down like that, but still....i thought it was damn funny. and at least he's getting a rub from stone cold. and maybe it will lead to him actually being consistently featured on raw from week-to-week. it may not be the best idea, but at least theyre giving him something

Rep Power: 17 ![]() | I actually enjoyed RAW for the most part. No long boring promos and very few backstage segments. It was nice to see Vince "break character" for a moment and thank Mick Foley for all he's done. I just didn't like the segment after that when Orton attacked Foley and Vince called for a janitor. What the hell? Overall the show kept a good pace. The crowd in New York was hot most of the night, so maybe that helped the show too.

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | to be honest i only caught the last hour of raw but i was still very impressed indeed a very hot crowd Skin: i disagree about the nash michaels flair orton match though kev wasnt in until the very end when he recieved the hot tag the whole match was flair and orton isolating michaels and working on his arm and ribs great way to work orton in plus it was a nice technical psychological match i didnt see the beginning but i do agree with skat that it is unfortuneate that this is the only way wwe thinks they can put storm over i really dont believe storm will ever be able to shake that summer slam Trips vs goldberg you heard it from me first and dear god Mister D you echo my thoughts exactly poor kane having to walk around with that hair |

Rep Power: 6 ![]() | I thought Raw was a solid show this week. WWE always turns it up a notch for MSG, and they did it up well this week. - The main event was the best match that Kane has had in a long time. It told a good story, had a lot of drama and close calls, and the outcome could have easily gone either way. I'm really interested to see where Kane's character goes from here, but his gimmick has grown so stale that he needs something to revitalize him, and this should do it. - Goldberg/Rodney Mack. Well, it was 26 seconds well spent. It got the crowd hot for the main event, if nothing else. - HBK & Nash vs. Flair & Orton was actually a pretty good match. I'm a huge mark for HBK & Flair and think Randy Orton will be one of WWE's top guys five years from now, so three out of four can't be bad - and since those three are really the only ones who did much in the match, it was a winner. How great is Ric Flair, though? 50+ years old and he's still a fantastic worker with good timing, bumping ability, and easily the most comedic and entertaining in-ring performer around. Good match. - Man, does WWE have a clue what they're doing with the tag division? Sgt. Slaughter? What?! Nostalgia is one thing, making a mockery of a once-great division is another. The pseudo-Frenchies shouldn't have the belts at this point in their run with WWE, but with no other tag teams, who else could hold them? MAKE MORE TAG TEAMS. - Even though it's kind of degrading, I find the whole "boring" thing with Lance Storm funny. Especially when SCSA says it...great comedy. The only problem is that this gimmick is something that won't escape Lance since he [i:post_uid0]is[/i:post_uid0] boring. It's not like he's going to finally cut loose and be entertaining. His personality is as interesting as watching paint dry. Regardless, the Dudleys vs. Storm/Jericho was a pretty good match. - Maven/Nownski MCMXCVIII - how many times are these guys going to wrestle? They should at least build some kind of storyline around them instead of just saying "they were on TE together and Chris is jealous that Maven won instead of him." Compelling TV....yawn... - Test sucks. Steiner sucks. That leaves Christian & Booker T to carry this match, and that's what happened. Just think where Test could be if he hadn't let Stephanie go when she "married" HHH a few years back. He could be main eventing. Instead, people stopped caring about him and quite obviously aren't going to start any time soon. Can him. I do like Christian and Booker feuding, but they need to up the ante on the whole thing. Some kind of not-too-over-the-top storyline to make it that much more interesting. Highlight of the Night: Foley's ceremony. He is a prime example of what a WWE wrestler should be with regard to entertaining the fans and heart. No one can hold a candle to that guy. It was cool seeing the old Hardcore belt given to him, too. Truly a legend.

Rep Power: 7 ![]() | They have to start somewhere, you know. I'd say RAW was quite an improvement and laid some good groundwork. I'd have had RVD turn on Kane though and join Evolution to set that angle up better. |

Rep Power: 18 ![]() | I agree. This was the best RAW in quite some time. Even though Triple H Vs. Kane was no technical masterpiece it still managed to have some serious heat to it. People are talking about RAW. Their interested in Kane, RVD, and Evolution. What more do you want? It's a good start, hopefully they can carry this momentum. |
