Everyone keeps saying how Coach is doing a lousy job, but I’m personally impressed with how he’s doing. He’s giving some new shelf life to the Raw announce booth and is constantly disagreeing with Lawler, something that doesn’t always happen when Ross and Lawler are together. Plus, Coach doesn’t wear a stupid cowboy hat, repeats the same Oklahoman catch phrases and only shills for Stone Cold Steve Austin. Keep Coach and Lawler together for good!!

Or bring Heyman to Raw and have J.R. and Heyman again, with Lawler and Coach on smaller shows. Heyman is about a thousand times better than Lawler, and could be better at starting the arguments on commentary. That would be more entertaining.

I agree that Coach definitely brings something new to Monday nights, since JR & King have had the same redundant conversation for two hours a week for Lord knows how long. On the flip side, he really isn't a good play-by-play guy. And, he and King don't have particularly good chemistry together. So, I don't know. I'm not big on Coach. He's a Heat kinda guy.

I wish that Bobby Heenan would come back and do color again. I'm not sure if he'd be able to with his recovery from throat cancer, but he was the greatest color guy ever.
