Rep Power: 17 ![]() | Usage of WWE music elsewhere EDIT: This message was originally posted over a year ago. Why did they just play Gangrel's theme music at the New Jersey Devil hockey game? Is that legal? They play every other type of music at games but doesn't WWE have specific copyrights for things of this nature?

Rep Power: 5 ![]() ![]() | I don't rthink Gangrels music is woned by WWE because he uses it on indie dates too. Some music they rent off music companies, the old Too Cool song was the same thing, because Grand Master used it on the WWA tour. Its only music that WWE write that they own and they don't own some of them. |

Rep Power: 7 ![]() | Yeah, there was an advert for Virgin Megastores (?) that used The Kats theme music. Which made me think - what wrestling themes would you use for certain adverts? Triple H's - The Job Centre is my one. |

Rep Power: 7 ![]() | Alot of themes the WWF use is jsut basic library stock that is free for all media to use. Kurt Angles music is actually the old music of 'The Patriot' if i remember. Ive also hears the hardy boys music in a few commericals. Ric Flairs music is also library material. Only the top tier stars seem to get dedicated theme songs in this day and age (Rock, Austin, HHH etc). Its alot more common now since they fired their 'in-house' composer |

Rep Power: 17 ![]() | What?! I never heard that. If that's the case then who's composing the music now? It's not all mainstream stuff being used; some of it is still original.

Rep Power: 11 ![]() | I remember last year sometime I downloaded a Boy Hits Car song, and it said in notes or something that it was Lita's theme. Dunno if that's true or not. Be pretty cool if it is. I also remember someone telling me RVD's ECW theme was by Grinspoon. I've never seen ECW so I don't know if this is true or not either. |
