Should Foley return to the ring?

Should Foley return to the wrestling ring?

I've heard rumors (from this board) that he might face Triple H somewhere down the line. The positive to that is...maybe then Triple H won't return to the title.

Still, can Foley really handle another match? This match could be full of shame. Sure Foley is great, but he's retired and he should probably just stay that way. Right?

But what about Ric Flair and Hulk Hogan and all these other wrestlers who NEVER retire and keep going strong, albeit old and slow?

Talk amongst yourselves.

If his body can handle it.

I'd have him do a stable to counter Evolution.

I bet his body can withstand a special gimmick match where he only takes safe bumps and doesn't have to do anything too difficult inside the ring. He could act as the mouthpiece and just wrestle once or twice a year.

Ric Flair still wrestles and Foley isn't nearly as old as him, though the issue of how his body is holding up is definitely an issue.

Foley can serve a purpose. I'm glad he's back.

WOOOOOOO!!!!

Sure, why not? I'm sure the fans (myself included) would love to see it no matter what shape he's in, assuming it doesn't put his health at serious risk.

I'd love to see Foley back in the ring but you really have to ask whether he can carry a good match anymore. I mean the guy must be beat up and like he said in his book when it gets to point when he can't put on a decent match he won't wrestle again. I'm afraid I think that time is now and he should respectfully with his head held high remain a talking character only. I think he should ally with an up and comer and be a mouthpiece for him against HHH at Mania. However HHH vs New Guy@ Mania = unlikely.

No, under no circumstances. His best days are behind him as a wrestler - he's in his prime as a mic worker and should be a friggin announcer eventually.

One more match wouldn't kill him. What a way to end it at WM 20. The guy should at least win his final match. I am sure he can pull one more really good match off and have it work. It will be a draw and how cool would it be to see him disappear a few times and come out as all of his characters during the match?

Have a nice day!

if they had left his retriement alone after the hell in a cell match against HHH, then i would be fine. But since they had him come back a month later for the mediocre Wrestlemania main event (A McMahon in Every Corner...ugh), they kinda ruined it. Let him come back, and then have the grand send-off he deserves

No. As much as I'd love to see a match with him in it again, his body really shouldn't go through that. His body just shouldn't do it, he's too beat up and it'd be selfish of us to have him do another one. For his own good, he should stay out of the ring.

I doubt Foley would ever commit to being an announcer because that would involve a full time schedule, but it certainly would be great. He was great in his little stint at the booth during the last Raw.

After firing Renee Dupree and Rob Conway; "I don't often quote Britany Spears but oops.. I did it again."

I laughed.

Announcing once a week isn't what I would cal a full time schedule. He could do it no problem.
