Raw vs. Smackdown - Will the feud reignite?

I'm wondering if, depending on who is named as the new Smackdown GM, the feud between Raw & Smackdown will start up again. When Stephanie & Bischoff were named GMs of their respective shows, they went back and forth, trying to one up each other. They even had the strange kiss between the two of them...which lead to nothing. Anyhow, since Stone Cold came in as Co-GM of Raw, the rivalry has been dropped.

I think that, if they get the right person in the SD GM spot (my vote from my other post is Paul Heyman), they can set up some Survivor Series Raw vs. Smackdown "dream matches" with some kind of friendly (or not-so-friendly) wager on the line. I think that a little competition between the shows makes for good TV. Lately, they've been more or less ignoring one another, which is OK, but I think that acknowleding their "competition" and challenging them to see who is better would make for a great PPV in November.

Any opinions?

Now that Heyman's officially Smackdown GM, I think it'd be cool if Stone Cold stepped down from his GM role (and hopefully had another neck surgery so that he could go back to wrestling), so that Heyman and Bischoff could try to one-up each other. Heyman could put his own branding on Smackdown so that it becomes his new ECW (only better...hopefully), and Bischoff could make Raw his new WCW (only much, much, much better...hopefully). I think that they could have an awesome rivalry - as well as having heated competition for wrestlers whose "contracts" are up, and having them try to lure away each others' wrestlers (ideally, at joint PPVs).

is he going to go for the angle-style quickie?

id like to see him step down as co-GM ASAP and get his neck done to be honest. steve austin is great but his reign as GM hasnt been particularly interesting, everything is too predictable. id much rather see him downing his beers after kicking some ass than celebrating making a match!!

I'd love to see a Raw vs. Smackdown battle. it might spice things up a bit.

The winner could have their pick of any two pre-selected wrestlers to jump brands or something.

There is a problem with the two brands waring, however. When one show wins, it makes that show look better, which would damage the respectability of the other show.

Come to think of it, Raw should just lose. Katie Vick stole any respectability that show had anyway...
