What do people think of this stable?

Personally, I thought this stable was offensive from the get-go. It's World Wrestling Entertainment not American Wrestling Entertainment.

They pretend like every American, as well, is in line with the thoughts that France sucks.

The name is a bit goofy as well. La Resistance? The name of the French who sacrificed themselves in World War II, in many instances for The Americans and British.

No no no - La Resistance was the name of the group that Stan, Kyle and Cartman created in South Park: The Movie to free Terrance and Phillip. DUH.

It's proof that WWE cannot create wrestlers with depth, they have to create gimmick stereotypical characters to get reactions.

I think it is stupid because anyone they fued with will have to shove America down our throats and get cheap pops. I do like however the fact that there are 3 of them now and not just some lame tag team. Maybe they plan on bringing back Mr America but as someone else? Oh joy! What would be a very good idea is have another stable from another country come and feud with them. Something other then America or Canada that would make it confusing for everyone to know who to cheer for lol.

Yeah, I personally don't care if someone bad mouths America.

And that's the problem. I don't give a rip about what they have to say or what their gimmick is about and since they have nothing else to offer I feel little reason to watch them.

If I attend a WWE event, I'll take a "La Resistance rule!" sign, and cheer them to hell, just to show how much I think the WWE line of thinking sucks. :angry:

I'll also take a sign that reads "Father of Jesus = God. HHH = Thinks he's god", and a "Storyline courtesy of KYN" sign.

Yeah that's true. If they weren't "from France" they would have no gimmick at all.

When I saw these guys I asked myself haven't they done this before?? Oh yeah, remember Doug Furnace and Philip LaFon?

So these guys get bigger heat, it's just a rehash of the storyline. Don't get me wrong, I get a kick out of these guys calling themselves French, when actually they're French-Canadian.

Sylvain is from Quebec and Rene's from New Brunswick (two of Canada's official bilingual provinces). Also, here's a little history note, the French from France have had animosity towards the French-Canadians for centuries. They see them more as ignorant pesants than anything else, so when these two showed up on WWE TV, the irony was so thick you could cut it with a knife.

I read somewhere that the third guy is OVW's Rob Conrad - so I don't know how they're going to handle him...But three is good.
