Seiji Sakaguchi met Kenzo Suzuki in a big men's clothing store. That's how Kenzo got into wrestling.

Sakaguchi said, "You're big. You have a good look. Are you into sports? You are? You should be a pro wrestler."

Kenzo said, "Pro wrestling. Ha, ha. That's fake. I play rugby."

Sakaguchi said, "No, you should be a pro wrestler."

So Kenzo became a pro wrestler.

His debut was supposed to be a big deal, doing a job to Goldberg in the Tokyo Dome. But Goldberg punched the window of a limo out in one of the many fantastic WCW angles and couldn't wrestle on the Dome show.

Kenzo instead debuted and lost to the guy he was a carbon copy of who was another one of Choshu's boys, Manabu Nakanishi.

Three years later, Choshu had left New Japan to start his own promotion, WJ.

Last January, when all the wrestlers' contracts expire, he left New Japan and joined Choshu's WJ.

Then he was training in the WJ Dojo with this guy with a big afro named Giant Ochiai. Ochiai took a bad bump and ended up going into a coma which eventually lead to his death.

Kenzo felt so bad, he quit WJ and took a job in construction, much like Rikidozan started in construction after leaving sumo.

Kenzo looked to get back in New Japan, but he'd already burnt his bridge there. He tried ZERO-ONE, and they wanted nothing to do with him either.

He started doing dark matches for the WWE. And now, The WWE recently offered him a developmental contract.
