What was the best tag team in Wrestling? The only tag team of today worth mentioning is the Dudley Boys, manily because of their success in both the WWF and ECW.
But my vote goes to Demolition. Cool Gimmick, No frills brawling, they looked cool and they get the job done. funny how originally they were brought in as a rip off of the Road Warriors.. but in my opinion they superceded them,

The New Age Outlaws were just great... somethin about them really did it for me. Their gimmick really was a big part of me getting into wrestling. No one could capture me in a gimmick quite like them.

I'm going to say E&C. For me, they were the best paired tag team I've seen. Really good promos too.

Agree with Papa Shango........think Demolition are the best I've seen in 18 odd years of watching wrestling. They were evreything a tag team should be....they seemed like they belonged as a team, obviously had a very similar look, had a team finishing manouver, and a simple but effective gimmick.
One of my favourite Demolition moments was in the Royal Rumble one year when they drew one and two, and promptly went at it with one another.
Honourable mentions to British Bulldogs and the Dudleys.
yeah i know i left out alot.. i had all these great tems in my head and just started writing them down.. and before i knew it i had ran out of options..
Then perhaps we should make a 'Part 2' of this thread and see how the vote goes for the ones we left out.
I had to go with the Rockers here. Sure, they never officially held the tag straps, but they didn't need to. No other tag team in the history of the WWF/E or the WCW/NWA had the continuity of Jannetty & Michaels. They had the best timing and chemistry, great double-team offense, and complemented each other the way a tag team should.
This isn't to say that the other teams on the list aren't great. My runner-up choice is Edge & Christian - especially during their 5-second-posing, crazy-ass-sunglasses-wearing, totally-reeking-of-awesomeness run as heel champions. They lacked in one area in which the Rockers stood above everyone else: double team moves. Their stacked superplex was an awesome move that they didn't do nearly enough, but aside from that, they really didn't do a lot of double teams.
Other honorable mentions are the Midnight Express, the Hart Foundation, LOD/Road Warriors, Demolition...the list goes on & on. Tag team wrestling needs desperately to make a comeback, because the current crop of teams can't hold a candle to the old school teams.
lol..why not just say Skip & Zip and get it over with?
