I have a big feeling that merchandise is going to be very important to WWE in the future.

Put it this way - not filling crowds to full capacity + drop in ratings from the prime (by quite a bit) = loss in takings.

In my mind, they want to make some original stuff. Oh look, there's another t-shirt. Ooooh, a mask too. Some more playing cards. Another t-shirt. Pens/pencils.

Well what do you suggest?

I don't think there IS much more WWE can tack their name on in terms of merchandise without it seeming like they'll flog anything.. which is pretty much the case anyway.

What about ways in which kids can learn dull stuff like maths in a fun way? What about things which will benefit people (A Kurt Angle vacuum cleaner, with "You Suck" written on the side? OK, that's more ridiculous).

I'm not paid to think up these things, the guys that are get their money for more than they deserve IMO.
