Rewriting History

This has been done before, I think, but I'm not positive. Regardless, if there was one angle, match, PPV, etc.. that you could rebook or rewrite what would it be?

Would you have HBK defeat Hogan at SummerSlam?

Would you have Vince let Bret get the win in Montreal?

Would you have Sting and Christian actually have a follow-up to the screw job that took place at that recent TNA PPV?

Would you eliminate the infamous "birth of the hand" segment?

I could do this all day. But what, more then anything, just really eats at your craw or whatever the hell that saying is?

What pisses you off the most?

Other than things like Owen's fall, which I'm sure everyone would agree we wish were something we could change, for me I'd have really loved to have seen Jeff win the WWF Championship, when he took on the Undertaker in a ladder match. I think it was on either Raw or Smackdown, and since Jeff had done a similar thing to HHH, beating him for the IC title, and then quickly dropping it back, I thought it'd be cool to do the same thing with the big belt. I remember at the time, someone on KYN suggested that Taker could have lifted Jeff up for the last ride, at which point Jeff could have grabbed the belt, and then the powerbomb could have been completed, with Jeff landing holding the title. It'd have been a cool way to end the match, and would have been a true pop from me. Plus, that way Taker would still look strong, and could regain the title in a rematch.

Sorry, I sort of rambled a little there... Yes... Anyway, there you go! That's mine.

When Hogan came down to join Hall and Nash they should have turned on him and kicked his ass.

That or I would just erase WWE's first attempt at writing the invasion.

I had a sig, once.

Kane should have never lost the mask, @ least not permenantly. Shoulda been like Rey in WCW

I agree with Half-Boy, Jeff should have won the title in that match. It's my personal favorite match of all time, and wish Jeff could have @ least carried it for a while

Not booked Hart against Goldberg that night, so he would not have had to end his career early.

Here's one that I've talked about quite a bit. It's basically the career of RVD in WWE. I'm of the opinion that RVD could have been one of the most popular WWE stars of all time, and I believe he'd still be at the top of the card on RAW if not for one huge mistake.

During RVD's prime, right after ECW closed up, he goes to WWF. He joins the InVasion angle on the side of the Alliance. He's the only man to gennerate cheers from that side from the otherwise biased WWE crowds. Not only were they cheers, they were basically standing ovations.

He was over mre then anyone in the entire company, maybe on par with The Rock. So WWE works it into the storyline with teased dissension between him and alliance leader Stone Cold Steve austin. Austin is the WWF champion at the time.

Now, I realize that he has a huge feud going on with Kurt, but why not give RVD the belt anyway? Why not have RVD as a neutral champion during all of this? The whole angle was blown apart anyway, and was badly failing.

Just a month prior to the end of the InVasion RVD has a match with Angle and Austin but takes the pinfall.

RVD never recovered from that booking until this year's ECW PPV and by now he's just a shadow of what he once was, a very talented and innovative high-flying performer.

I definitley agree.
The match with Taker was unbeleiveable, I still remember the excitment/disapointment I was feeling as I was watching the match, and the end of it. It was great to see the Taker help Jeff up and give him much deserved props. Damn I miss those days, and I SO would have cried of happiness if what
[b] Half-Boy mentioned above about Jeff grabing the title during the last ride happened.

Also, definitley the same with Kane, no mask = no good.
I HATED the moment Kane turned around and had all the bullshit dirt/paint/bad hair on his head. Most of all I think I was most disapointed in the fact that for most of the time we saw the real Kane, he didn't have long hair!

Another thing about Kane, that I so wanted to happen and still wish did.
I wish when Kane and X-Pac were a team and they were gonna' make Kane an official member of DX, they actually didn't fuck him over. I would have LOVED to see the big GREEN machine (all dressed in the forgotten green suit and mask) back up fellow DX'ers, and it so would have worked. Even if it was for just a few months and then they fucked him over, I would have just loved to see the vision of H, Dogg, Gunn, Pac and Kane come out to the music and beat the hell outta' everyone. They would have been even so much more dominante as a faction.

O well, that's all for now. Catch ya later!

Remember the Spyda, dude ..
