LONG Title reigns

Is it just me, or and the new champions holding the title for waaay too long? It used to be titles would just change hands *BAM* unexpectedly in a raw main event. Now its hardly even worth watching the PPV's, much less the televised title shots, because they rarely try to surprise you anymore. I mean, come on! JBL had the title WAY too long, same with Booker. I'm a huge Cena fan, but i'm tired of the same fued w/ edge...they've had it since January. Lets get some new title holders in there, even if its just for like a week or 2 flukr victory...something to shake things up!

I prefer the longer reigns as it gives the belt more credibility than if it was swapping every other week.

Just look at ROH, all their champions have at least a 3 month reign which is perfect as it does 2 things, builds the title up and also the person who is holding it.

I think Booker is going to retain the title in at least two more Matches.

I love how the people are keeping the titles for long reigns. I couldnt stand the one or two month ones...

yeah...booker will keep his for a while. Some need to hold on the the title for a while, like Big Show. For so long, he was just an obstacle for wrestlers to get by, used just to put other guys over. Now he's getting more of an Andre-like status.

Yep, it's long reigns for me.

I like it to be mixed up from time to time, like every few years have someone win the title on free tv. It's got to be done just so that people think it's possible for the titles to change hands in such situations. But as a general rule, it's long reigns for me.

I look at this a couple different ways..

1. If the title is going from guy to guy to different guy, that's just horrible. It makes it look like the company has no direction and is just throwing shit out there to see if it sticks.

2. If it's a feud between two guys and they trade the belt back and forth a couple times, then I can del with it. It happend with Rock and Foley in I believe it was 1999, and to me, that was done really well.

But for the most part, I like some long reigns.
