However none of these angles stand a freakin chance unless for once they're booked that ECW/WCW/nWo/whoever the hell they're bringing back go over for a long while. These angles have been killed by WWE/F going over continously so if it's gonna be fresh then the Dakstang's of this world have to be humbled by the other promotions having the upper hand either in the end or for a pro-longed time, if not go back 5 years and watch the first ECW/WCW invasion or the WWE incarnation of nWo. |

It's the way the whole segments were scripted. Yeah, he's got a book, and that gives him a reason to be out there, but I'm almost guaranteeing there's more to it. If they wanted to just promote his book, they wouldn't have scripted it the way they did and put him on ECW.

The first three names he mentioned were Hall, Nash & Hogan. Now this is probably me looking into things too much but i think WWE are lining something up that should surface around Survivor Series.

I think Eric is most definetly going to be back on tv in a major Nwo angle. I would actually like it as well. But the thing is, with Nwo, you have Hogan, Hall and Nash who all are quite old and slow these days (not sure about Hall, but he can't be that great anymore). They may have to bring in some younger guys to have the nwo "brainwash"

One of the pieces that made the original nWo so successful was the heel turn of Hogan. It surprised a lot of people at the time. I think if they are going that route again with an "invasion" style group with Bischoff they need that same sort of shock value. If you're going for a new nWo get someone who the fans would be shocked that he turned. They need that sort of slap in the face if you will that gave the original angle some unperdictable mojo that was so fresh and new. Once the first turn occurs have everyone questioning who will jump to Bischoff's group, etc. until you've established the core stable members. I enjoyed that until they went overboard with it and drove it into the ground in the WCW version. Otherwise this may turn old really fast.
