Do you watch Smackdown?

Honestly, I catch a couple of matches off it every so often then something peaves me off so much I turn off and forget about it. Today I caught a re-run of the pitt-bulls V London/Kendrick. It rocked. Not enough to make me sit through a dreadlocked black man pretending to be English aristocrisy tho. That's kinda the problem with Smackdown tho. Pre-concived ideas of just how bad the show is. I mean a thread is in news & rumours with a poster for no mercy. It's a plain and simple picture of Taker. The response "he does'nt intrest me" "I won't be buying that". That is how bad the pre-concived idea of Smackdown has gotten. Don't get me wrong, I'm not defending a show which, amongst other howlers, has had a widow involve herself in a fued between two people who say they're fighting over a dead friend/relative (no thats not a work it is the continuing EG storyline), a large black man who smashes clocks over his head bite a cancerous growth off a womens face (that one was a work thank god) and the use of a rabid midget as an "foriegn" object. However through all that CRAP one man still commands respect and thats 'taker. The man is a 15 year professional that has had to carry possibly some of the worst wrestlers to be put in a squared circle thru numerous PPV's and he has done just that. We've seen him bounce about and Job for the worst thing since Hernandez. We've seen him pull out a passable match at 'mania with a man whos claim to fame is being paid 10 years and injured for 8 of them. We've seen him in a thrown together match with Show on less than a weeks notice on a PPV and then on ECW and make them half-way good. Yep I hate Smackdown, yep I barely watch it, but I make time enough to come to my decisions on my own, perhaps if more wrestling fans did this instead of relying on the first smart-arse spotty kid back from Smackdown each week then they could make informed decisions on what and who works on Smackdown and what and who sucks instead of just reading the standard cut & paste from pwinsider.

Good post KJay. In a word. No. I don't watch SD! Sometimes I'll catch a Download a watch a little bit or something or they'll have it on at the bar but I don't pay attention and I don't care. The show is the most boring thing ever written and now with the Vicky Guerrero storyline, it's become the most sickening thing ever written as well.

nope it's so boring to me and the storylines suck :erm: i do listen when austin watches though if that counts. if My Cena goes there i will protest!!!

The only way I watch SD is on DVR. This way I am able to skip the junk. JBL drives me NUTS!

I don't watch it religiously but if i can download it i will and will skip most bits.

I do watch for the Undertaker as if he's against someone half decent, he can still pull it out.

I still feel if it was live it would be a whole lot better.

Occasionally, I'll watch. I don't try to make it a point to watch it, as I do with RAW. If I don't watch it, every couple weeks I'll read online updates about it.
