I'm not certain it's really a punishment. Maybe, but Cole is the voice of WWE now like it or not.

As Welbek said, as long as the opening post is well thought out and reasoned list threads can be quite entertaining, but yeah, they are a great contributing reason behind the creation of this thread, as many of them are very little more than spam really.

RaiZ, I think he will wrestle without the mask. He did on tour and in FCW.

Welbek, I'd say managment was going for something ironic like that. I hope to hear commentators say "Alberto del Rio is no honest man, he's TWO FACED!" Maybe he could form a short friendship with someone and then attack them from behind or something... I think it would be funny.

I also agree, if they have great reason for making a list then make a thread for it but don't make a list just for the sake of making a thread.

Jim Ross IS wrestling ,period. WWE would be at a loss without him. Though he's a great fit for TNA.
As for Michael Cole, Heidenriech butt slamming him on Smackdown says enough,lol

Jerry Lawler,if anybody is. Michael Cole is & always will be a tv news guy transplanted.

Pro wrestling was not his first career choice. News was.

JR's heart & soul are in pro wrestling. Can't say the same for Cole.

Some sites have alluded to a top star, one put out the names John Cena or HHH.

I get the feeling it may be Vince,sort of like when he was revealed as the "Higher Power" during the attitude era.

Hopefully it won't be Michael Cole. Jim Ross however could work,as payback for years of WWE abuse,etc.

Does anyone else find the new ring announcer for NXT to be terribly grating? It's not only her voice, but also her tone - half the time, she sounds like she's talking to her dog. I half expected her to follow up with her weird 'and he is the world's strongest man, Mark Henry' with 'yes he is! yes he is, isn't he?' Little things get to me, like, when announcing two people coming to the ring at the same time, saying 'X and he is the __ champion, Y'. The 'he is' is pretty redundant. Maybe it's just me being pedantic.
