Chris Jericho is arguably one of the best wrestlers today, and he is definately on the biggest run in his career right now. But is WWE Using him too much?
I feel that he is being over used. I think that with someone showing up on both Raw and Smackdown, and ECW occationally is over use. Now, i think Jericho's current charecter is very good, solid stuff, but WWE uses it atleast 2 times a week.
Your thoughts?

Re: Chris Jericho: Time well spent, or Over exposure?
If Jericho was in a Hogan, Austin, or even Cena position, I may agree he's being over exposed. However I think he's in a perfect position for the role he's playing. I read someone else say it and it's true, Jericho is in the perfect spot of low tier main eventer/upper mid card role that fluctuates as needed. He isn't a massive draw where people necessarily pay to see him, his main job is to put people over and help whomever he's facing and whatever title he's involved with, and he's doing well.

Re: Chris Jericho: Time well spent, or Over exposure?
I think Jericho is amazing right now and is in the prime of his life. I love the way he his he generates so much heat from the crowd over his promos and his in ring ability is top notch. His association with Big Show is clever and they use each other to their advantages is notibly interesting. I'm just hoping that their tag title reign ends soon and give the younger talent a push such as The Hart Dynasty.

Re: Chris Jericho: Time well spent, or Over exposure?
Adding to what Ken said, which I agree with, is the fact not a lot of heels become overexposed anyway. Although he is talented. Not a lot of people will spend as much as they did on Hogan and Austin as a face than a heel Jericho.
The only heels I know of that were overexposed were the nWo and The Rock, and I think WWE knows better on how to work their heels to the right degree. That is what they are doing perfectly. Plus, if he was overexposed, he'd be relentlessly in the media, and I've only seen him on one TV show besides WWE programming.
He's fine. He's not overexposed.

I totally think that he is finally being used to the right amount. I don't think you can really overexpose someone like Jericho who can play any type of character he wants and get instant cheers or boos on the mic within seconds. It's the exact opposite of like an Orton ( who couldn't play a face to save his life) or Cena who are just one dimensional characters.
Re: Chris Jericho: Time well spent, or Over exposure?
I don't think he is being overused. If anything, I think him showing up on RAW/SD & ECW will do nothing but good for him and his character as the crowd will eventually tire of it. I'm interested in seeing exactly what the future holds for Jericho.

Re: Chris Jericho: Time well spent, or Over exposure?
Jericho is fine where he is. He's at the best part of his career. He's good enough to go to every show without being overused. So im basically agreeing with Ken. What this thread needs to be is Why the Hell can't Jericho land the Lionsault in almost 9 weeks weeks?!?!?

Re: Chris Jericho: Time well spent, or Over exposure?
Well Jericho is my favorite wrestler ever so you can't really get an unbiased answer from me, haha. But, I love his role at the moment. Raw is pretty much shit at the moment, imo. But having Jericho show up always guarantees an enjoyable segment or match(for me at least), so ever since winning the tag titles he's helped to improve the quality of Raw. My only concern is that he could become burnt out, or get injured, or something like that, as a result of working so much.
