I've kinda been whoring out the poll threads recently, but this will be the last one for quite a while. Just thought it had to be done considering Kofi's current push.
This is battle of the young midcard faces with a big future:
John Morrison has been getting a solid push recently, defeating a few main eventers (including then World Champion CM Punk twice clean) and now enjoying a good reign as IC Champion.
Over on RAW, Kofi Kingston had a solid US Title reign, but has now moved up to a feud with the top heel, Randy Orton. The events on Monday Night also show that he's now being used in a more serious role with a more serious character.
Which brand has the superior midcard face to push?
This isn't just about ring work, it's just overall who do you enjoy more? Who would you most like to see as World Champion? WHO IS THE BETTER MAN?

I don't hate Morrison like everyone else. I'm glad to see both guys being pushed. But Kofi is already more entertaining from a PPV and one RAW than Morrison has been from the start, just because of being better on the mic and way more intense.

Yeah I think Morrison has huge flaws but I still wouldn't mind seeing him get a decent push. I just think it's difficult to get into his matches because he has no personality and shows zero passion or intensity, and that's without even mentioning his reliance on his spots and the random 2.9 pin attempts thrown into every match to try to make it exciting.
That said, I can certainly see why some people would find him exciting to watch and enjoy his work. He has had good matches with Punk and Rey. Didn't rate the Rey one as highly as others (4 3/4 rofl) but it was still good I felt. The Punk matches were all of a high standard. Not seen the Dolph match from HIAC.
Kofi actually hasn't had as many good matches as Morrison strictly speaking, but he hasn't really had an opportunity yet. The match against Miz on PPV was good, but in general he's just been booked in random multi-man matches, which he was entertaining in. It will be interesting to see him get a one on one match on PPV with an established guy.
The fact that he is showing intensity now and can clearly talk makes him more appealing and intriguing to me than the one dimensional Morrison.

This little feud with Orton will go a long way in deciding whether or not Kofi has what it takes to make it big IMO. It's a huge opportunity for him to show what he can do. Up to this point he hasn't had any proper feuds for us to judge his performance on & has just been thrown in a bunch of random midcard matches. The promo where he's smashing up orton's car was just just epic & refreshing & makes me want to see how this feud turns out. Hopefully he does well.
As for Morrison i like this guy but i still think he has to make some improvements in quite a few aspects. Need to see a lil more intensity from him & more ground work in the ring rather than a lot of flips. I hope this guy does do well though & he's actually one of the guys im predicted to be one of the next stars of the company once guys like Taker, HBK, HHH, Jericho etc... are all gone.

I don't hate Morrison at all. I just think he is the most over rated guy on the Internet. He has/can have good matches. He's had matches I've enjoyed a lot. But for the most part he has spot fests that lack storytelling/psychology yet get called great matches.
He also is absolutely horrible on the microphone. I like him, but he's a midcarder...plain and simple.
I think Morrison has WWE champion potential, but he needs to work on his mic skills a bit. They're not horrible, but they could be better. KOfi on the other hand as talent for days, and even though I can't picture him with a WWE Championship, especially not anytime soon, I think he has a better chance at success.
Morrison by far. He's had great matches in while in tag teams (both MNM and with Miz) and had great singles matches with Punk, Rey, Ziggler, and Jeff Hardy.
I've seen Kofi produce some above average to good matches but never great ones. Plus his gimmick got old shortly after he left ECW.

Kofi is easily a more likeable face and while he hasn't had any stand out matches recently, he's always entertaining. With the exception of one or two good matches over the past couple of months, Morrison is unremarkable. He's also too smug to be a convincing face.
