Obviously the most intresting option is HBK turning on HHH. It doesn't really matter if Triple H turn, he's exactly the same as a face or heel. He'll still be cooler/harder than everybody else.
If HBK turns it makes him intresting, something he hasn't been for 4 years. Coincidentally, since his last heel turn.

I would prefer HBK to go heel for his last run in WWE because it's been a looooong ten years or so since he was a heel. It's a shame he injured himself when he did and would definitely have been a central figure in the Attitude Era. I doubt their will be a break up as of yet as they will be just coming off their DX Invasion tour but I do feel they will go their seperate ways around Royal Rumble time.

The Rumble would be a good place to see it happen. Shawn could cause HHH to lose the Rumble (and his chance at a title shot @ WM 26), and start building to their WM match from that point forward, with Hunter blaming Shawn for "screwing" him out of a title shot, and HBK gloating about it.

This would make HBK an interesting character again and he would be able to cut some amazing promos as a heel. This is something that we haven't really seen from HBK since his feud with Hogan. People complain all of the time about him being stale or boring. This would be the perfect way to fix that.
However, I don't see it happening. HBK has become somewhat of an uber face and I don't think that a heel turn for him would be that easy. Fans might not take to it at all. It would be like when Austin was trying to be a heel after being an uber face. Fans still cheered for him.
Anyway you go, it will be interesting to see what happens.

I really have no desire to see another Michaels/Hunter feud. However, I wouldn't have a problem with one last match right before Michaels retires. Until he comes close to retirement, I would hold off on any type of issues between the two.

First off, I don't think HBK is stale, I mean, he does produce very good storylines to this day (think JBL and Jericho) so there's really no need to turn him heel, especially when Batista just turned.
And I read earlier that HHH has turned so many times that it does get old, but although I don't know how his gimmick could do it, Hunter plays the heel like no other. If I had to compare the two, HHH always has been a better heel anyways. I always preferred Michaels as a face.
What would be interesting if they turned heel. It's been a long time since we've seen DX as heels. They would not have to change what they are doing, just jump Henry and MVP and steal a tag title shot or something. Or cause it to be a triple threat. Shawn superkick a few people (Cena) and Hunter pedigree him, cuz they don't win the belt.
I don't want DX to break up. But more importantly I don't want either to go heel, especially HHH. HHH is better as a face, because he's funnier, he gets his jokes out as a face. As a heel he's too serious. Plus it'd be hard to hate HHH and HBK, because they've both been around for so long, and are fan favorites.
