I'd say it was because the match was fun and had some decent spots. That's at least why I enjoyed the match.
That too, but let me put it this way. Can you imagine the crowd being as silent if the main event had been Cena vs Orton? In the same way, can you imagine the crowd being as into the triple threat if it was HHH vs Edge vs Show?

If they kept the same match structure and speed, sure.

It's not a good match, but a few little tweaks could've made it appear better. Crowd noise would've helped, obviously, and a different finish would've made it appear better. It still would've been shit, but Orton getting the better of Triple H after all the stuff he did to him and his family would've been a talking point.

I especially like the way they hit their finishers within the first minute, as if they were looking for an excuse to work the rest of the match at a snail's pace.
