Don't watch raw tonight

He complains about how the ufc are setting all of these records for ppv and rating success with the ultimate fighter. You know what they sell there product on is blood violence and broken bones which is what gave the wwe all there success and in my opinion was the main rason they won the monday night wars. Foot ball = violence UFC = violence which is why they are killing the wwe in every category either get back to what brought you to the dance or fuck off. Heres hoping for a 2.8 or 2.9 rating tonight so mcmahon gets the message. I'll be watching vikings vs the packers anyone who cares about the wrestling product we get, I'm asking you to not watch raw because thats the only thing vince understands is bad ratings.

Wait till the next morning and watch it online like me

Wrestling never had much "blood, violence and broken bones" when it was huge in the 80s...

If that's all you look for in wrestling, you're not much of a fan really.

Sorry but i'm a huge fan, and i would like to ask you if you would like to go back to a time where wrestling was so fake it was ridiculous. I loved when i was a kid but i look back at those old hogan matches where he would hulk up and i laugh at them. I watched Wrestlemania 3 the other day and if you put that exact same card on now it wouldn't sell a 20 000 tickets. It was a huge cartoon show, and your obviously not a big fan because steamboat in wrestlemania 3 had his throat crushed before the match, I can't count the number of cage matches with hogan where he bladed himself. NWA and WCW had more blood in it then any time. Every classic image of flair is that hair soaked in blood. The I quit match between flair and funk in 89, the scaffold match where people thought the road warriors or midnight express would kill themselves. The horsemen would make every single person they went againist a bloody mess over and over again and was the only reason they were able to compete with msg and new york money. So if you are true fan and inspect that statement its full of shit.

The only part wrestling that wasn't bloody in the eighties was hogan and his cartoon superhero image and if they had to put on the same type of shows fan expect today the wwf wouldn't of made it out of the eighties.

I'm not saying it should be blood and guts all the time although i loved old ecw but ever sicne the 60's bleeding has been a way to make a big match important and to make a feud special. You take any huge cage ,atch from the 60's on even during the kiddie era of the eighties and i will show you blood almost all the time. That is jsut a cage nevermind something they call hell in a cell where you got chairs weapons etc. Without blood and violence mick foley would be a hmeless dude on the street the taker wouldn't have any of the rep he has, austin would of been nothing without violence and swearing, flairs biggest thing in his career was his blading you show me one star and i will show you a moment in a big feud where blood and violence skyrocketted him to the next level or was one of him most memorable moments. If punk was a bloody mess last night and they had weapons littered the cage he wouldn't of looked as weak, like taker selling that leg injury was ridiculous and horrible attempt at giving punk some credibility. If anyone actuall read what i'm saying and isn't a fan and actually cars about wrestling and just doesn't want to suck the wwe dick then i would love for someone to point out where i'm wrong.!!!!!

I'm starting to believe you have some kind of inner anger problem with all this blood, violence and broken bones you want to see spins. I suggest during your time not watching Raw, visit a shrink and let your anger free.

Anyway, this thread won't do much for ya. Hell, if you posted this on every forum around, and 50% of people did tune out, it still wouldn't make a difference. With the die hards tuning in, and all the casual fans who'll tune in to see Big Ben, this may be the second highest rated Raw since the guest host thing. (I'd say first, but there's an epic MNF game tonight.)

thats is true but i know alot of fans who are just as disgusted as i was about last nights ppv and raw last week only did 3.1 and the ppv isn't going to help and last week was a bad mnf game. Tonights the most anticipated game of the year if i thought any of you vince cronies would pay me i would be willing to bet a couple hundred that wwe don't break 3 share tonight.

Plus this is another part of the wwe being stupid, why have big ben againist the biggest monday night football game of the year until week 12 on because your not going to get one football fan that wasn't going to watch the wwe already.

i can understand wanting blood especially in texas back in the day. also raw was suppose to be a show around wrestling, sex and violence but now it's more like a variety show act. the only time blood should be introduced in my opinion at certain times like to help push a feud to the next level to make it that more personal or what have you. the biggest thing i have learned through the years is less means more. you do something where you have blood baths constantly it losses value and meaning. do it once in a while it has a huge effect on the audence.
