Yeah like Tommy said it ain't nothing major. Don't really understand why they didn't just like him as Ghanian when he came to the WWE & done. Find it kinda funny though that WWE are having an African use a Jamaican gimmick since in real life Jamaicans & Africians don't really get along with each other.

The way they are wording it is that he was born in Ghana but moved to Jamaica later on, which is fine enough I guess. I guess they want him to slowly drop the jamaican thing if they push him further.

I guess they are planning a tour to Africa in the near future?
Pretty much my thoughts or they are trying to capitalize on his background to pull in African Viewers. You know how they like to say they got a character for everyone.

"Bingo"? I think you are completely wrong. If anything, the Jamican gimmick would be better than being from Ghana. How would saying he is from Ghana be more helpful than saying he is from Jamaica? Especially since everything about him (his accent, his outfit, his music, etc.) says "Jamaica".
Anyways, I don't see the need to make a thread for this. Remember how they used to say Gail Kim was from Korea? Benoit went from Edmonton to Atlanta, Jericho went from Winnipeg to Manhassat, New York, etc.

With Benoit they did say "now residing in..." instead of just "from" though.
