I don't know if The Sun is considered a reliable news source, but there could be a new WWE Championship on the way.

Personally I don't care either way, but it should stop all the threads about the Spinner on the other forum I'm on.

Should they do a new design, or bring back the version that was last held by JBL?

I think they should go back to the JBL-era belt. It was thinner and didn't have the outlandish center. But, in all honesty, anything would be better then the current title.

They should revamp all the belts.

Since the Tag Titles are unified there should be one belt, the ECW belt although new should be shrunken down with the same design but gold, the US and IC Belts have both been around for quite a while, and the WWE belt is absolutely horrible looking.

The only belt I'd consider keeping the same is the WHC since it is just so epic. It looks important, something that most WWE belts don't.

I dont think they will unify the tag titles into one belt, as they most likely plan to split them up.

Revamped WWE title? Yes please. JBL's title.

I liked Brock Lesnar's belt (the unified title belt is more associated with Brock Lesnar IMO), and think it looks better than the spinner belt (although the spinner belt is not as bad as it used to be since they got rid of the spinning part). The rest of the belts are fine.

I would like to see the classic tag belts brought back (the one that used from 1987-2002).

The thread title is misleading, it says there will be a new championship (not just a new belt design). Also, that is not the correct format for linking news. See the News & Rumors forum for correct examples.

The spinner should only be for Cena.

Everyone else needs something else. The JBL one works fine, as does the one posted by Sam.

I don't think anybody should have their own title belts. Apparently Austin commisioned the Smokin' Skull Belt himself, and brought it out on Raw, and McMahon hated the idea, and banned it, but the fans clamoured for it, and it was brought back. I just think individual title's cheapen the belt.

The belt in the 90s that micheals, bret everyone had was the best belt by far. Don't touch the world title though, thats history and classic.

Never really liked the spinner belt. It was a cool idea where Cena first had it, but it should have been changed after that. I woud love to see them go back to the old winged eagle design. I far prefer that one.
