Right now I am very bored with Orton period then again I have to remember the PG era limits him. As a face, he won't be as limited.
Randy Orton has been a heel since he was a member of Evolution. I think the best way to make Orton face is for him to confront Edge for making him a monster and giving him, his "disease". During their Great Era together as the Greatest Tag Team of All Times RATE-RKO, Edge brought out Orton's darker side. At times Orton shown his crazy madman expressions during his assaults with Edge.
I can't think of any current heels who would be best for Orton's face. Orton's story with Edge makes more sense to me.
Most people don't even know/remember Rated RKO, plus Edge is returning as a face. Terrible idea.
Orton as a face would be terrible anyway.
I understand and respect the fact, you don't like RATED-RKO. A lot more people know them as team than you realize. I have been on a lot of wrestling forums and people know who they are. I speak to wrestling fans at the college I go to, and everyone I have spoken to knows them.

I liked them at the time, but they have no real historical significance.
