I really think cody rhodes is in danger of becoming the next marty jeanetty. He doesn't have the size or the image to make it in the wwe without dibiase. Maybe in the x division in tna but when dibiase goes face in nov. I give cody rhodes 6 months before he gets wished the best in all future endeavors.
Cody has abs (not quite in the league of a Morrison but more defined than many) and his arms are getting bigger. He is beefing up and losing the lack of credibility he had before.
Add in being good on the mic, good in the ring, Dusty as his dad, being in Legacy, and being kayfabe under Orton's wing.. he probably has nowhere to go but up.
Edit: Also, I'm tired of Marty Jannety/HBK comparisons. Why can't they be like Orton/Batista, Edge/Christian, hell even the Hardys?

Yeah every super star who has movie turns face, because its not going to be watched alot anyways so having a heel in a movie thats not going to make very much money in the first place will kill it. Kane did it Kennedy did it Cena was already face but you get my point.
I'm not even a cody hater i just look at his physic and i try to picture him in these high feuds by himself and i don't see it. The only plausable situation i see is him going to ecw maybe until he packs some size on, especially in those chicken legs.
Or maybe leave for a year get on roids so he gets some size then comeback and keep it so he can avoid the drug test failures

I think Cody will end up having a career close to his brother's. He will get some mid-card title reigns and a couple of tag titles but never make it to the main event scene.

Either way, guys like Rey, Morrison, Punk, etc. have main evented and none are particularly jacked. Cody is in good shape and getting in better shape, has a quick style when a face and does some unique submissions as a heel. He's not some wanna be powerhouse at his size, so I see no problem really.

Either way, guys like Rey, Morrison, Punk, etc. have main evented and none are particularly jacked. Cody is in good shape and getting in better shape, has a quick style when a face and does some unique submissions as a heel. He's not some wanna be powerhouse at his size, so I see no problem really.
Yeah, he did. He had to though, because we was the killer in his movie. I'm probably in the minority for this, but I think if anyone is in trouble, it's DiBias. He seems so forgettable, and really to me has no entertainment value. I would never by into him main eventing, or having him feud with a top guy, like I would Rhodes, down the line.

Cody Rhodes is easily in the size range of CM Punk, Rey Mysterio, Jeff Hardy, Matt Hardy, and Chris Jericho......
Come to think of it, none of those guys have amounted to anything in recent memory.....damn he's screwed.

I agree with you 100 % IMO Cody has been outshine DiBiase these past few weeks. Plus Cody is deff beefing up but that should not be a problem as Punk is the champion on SmackDown and he's a small guy
