Meh, I haven't really seen much in Cody Rhodes. Not necesarrily his fault, since he's mostly been Orton's lackey up until now. I'm hoping with these chances he's getting with DX to shine he'll prove me wrong and show that he's capable of being a name in the future, but right now I just don't see it. Would only take a few good matches and some god damned mic time to change all that though.
He's safe for sure though.

Meh, I haven't really seen much in Cody Rhodes. Not necesarrily his fault, since he's mostly been Orton's lackey up until now. I'm hoping with these chances he's getting with DX to shine he'll prove me wrong and show that he's capable of being a name in the future, but right now I just don't see it. Cody Rhodes thus far is easily the stand out of Legacy. The reason people tend to favor Dibiase is the perception that Dibiase is going to be pushed over Rhodes which was created after all the dirtsheet rumors that he'd get a big face run one the Marine 2 comes out.
Rhodes has easily been the standout of the two in the series with DX, and I'd dare to say is better on the microphone. (Although Dibiase isn't bad at all.)
Rhodes major downside is his look. He's not too small for WWE's current climate, but he just looks down right goofy. He should get some longer boots, knee pads, and more colorful trunks. Everybody wears black trunks, considering Cody Rhodes is a fairly plain looking guy colors would help him stand out.
I think you're mistaking the Orton's lackey thing for actual character depth. For the most part prior to this fantastic feud with DX, Legacy were lackeys. Dibiase seems to just not really give a shit about Orton and is willing to stand up to him when he feels Orton is out of line, where as Rhodes seems to idolize Orton and in turn finds ways to rationalize Orton's character's behavior. I think this makes the prospect of an eventual Rhodes/Orton feud a lot more interesting than a Dibiase/Orton feud. He's far from a lackey.

I have to disagree completly. The only area Rhodes even is slightly better than DiBiase in is mic skills. DiBiase has the better look, more charisma (although neither one have that much), better ring skills, etc.
Crest Fall, I see nothing wrong with the Triforce on his boots. How is it any worse than some of the stupid tattoos many wrestlers get? Hell, wrestlers with their arms covered completely in tattoos look like idiots to me.
